It does not say 'Thus having BC Skill at 5, and all 4 Racial Cruiser skills at 4 would mean you get all four variations at 5.'

That and I also asked a Dev, cause I have an alt with BCV and DestroyersV, but apart from the the original Racial Frig II, no other Frig/Cruiser skills. I was told not to worry, that I would get all 4 of both.

Stop meddling with how i fly ships i already own and make some new ships / space / missons or something new and original !


CCP have had upwards of 2K Euros out of me and i think i deserve a say in how the game moves forwards ......

True, and the game should (and is) moving forward into new area's.

However that doesn't change the fact there has been a HUGE amount of pressure generated by the EVE player base to spend significant resources towards fixing and updating existing features.

Also remember, this change does NOT meddle with ships you already own (presumably you mean "can already fly".)

The "racial cruiser at level 3 debate has raged on, the Dev's seemed mildly confused that anyone would turn down just blanket allowing all 4 BC skills awarded at their current level... but I'm sure if there is enough outcry they will allow you to shoot yourself in the foot.

I have two combat dedicated toons. I don't want any Industrial skills, yet they still start with Mining as a skill. They don't let you remove that, and people aren't going postal cause it messes up their sheet.. so find a way to cope with it :p

Now let me get this straight:

You're Caldari and you have Battlecruiser lv 5 trained. When the skill change get's implemented, you'll have all 4 racial Battlecruiser skills given to you at lv 5 and you're requesting not to recieve the Caldari Battlecruiser skill because it may imply a relationship with the Drake ship, which is also Caldari.

And somehow that's going to blemish your character.

I'm confused.

If this was pertaining to role-playing, I could understand not wanting Gallente, Minmatar and or Amarr being added to your skill set and requesting that those skill points be placed elsewhere. But not wanting your own racial skill is really confusing.

At this moment, the noble Drake has been responsible for 81,018 kills this month (5 days lol).

Now compare that to the next best killer: the Tengu with 27,916

And then ask yourself why you are disparaging such a fine internet spaceship.

Dear CCP,

In reference to OP's post.

I regretfully wish to inform you that the OP's stand in this particular matter is absolute, and no amount of reasoning shall move OP's mind in regards to this matter.

Therefore it is with a heavy heart that I request that the SP from OP's excess skillpoints in Caldari Battlecruiser V be transferred over to me for immediate re-allocation of my choosing.

The Drake is the ship of choice for retards; OP doesn't want people to think that (s)he is capable of flying the Drake when people look at his/her skillsheet; it follows, therefore, that the OP doesn't want to be thought of as a ******. It's not that hard, is it?

Sure, why not just whip out the old "i should be able to respec" argument.

Which in this case, could actually be a valid option, but implementing it is NEVER going to happen..... i think, but one can only hope.

Basically it means you can take skill levels off of something and then add the SP you got from that, to another skill ( something like twice per year or something ).


Reason this will never be implemented:
It will probably kill the purpose of having more then 1 alt.
It will make training for higher level skills pointless, cause people will just train a lot of low level ones, that they will later convert to SP for the hgiher level ones.

You worry to much. It will likely mean that If you couldn't fly it before the change you can't fly it after.

Train all frigs to 5, all cruisers to 5, destroyers/battlecruisers (non racial) to 5. train all T2 cruiser skills (non racial today) at least 1lvl, also destroyers at least 1 lvl(non racial), train Command ships (non racial).

Stop complaining today because you're in bad mood, in a few months you're going to post about friends of yours who did it and can still fly all the ships they used to but now you'll need at least 4x times to get the same skills blahblahblah.

Horrible stuff around here, seriously.
