Question about PI's and corps

Hi,

I have a question about PI and corps. I haven't seen anything in the guides, but I was wondering:

1. If I start with PI, can I do it while in a NPC corp?
2. Will moving corps (say to a player corp) have any effects if I were to have PI setup on some planet?

In other words, is PI something linked to the player and not related to the corp, like POS's? Just wondering, I'm hoping it is since it doesn't appear to be mentioned in any guides.

Yes, PI is fully linked to the player, is it NOT like POSes. So..

1) Yes
2) No

If you happen to use a customs office from a player corp, you might have to pay more taxes, possibly up to 100% if they don't want anyone else to use their offices
