If this option were available, you could quickly sort the valuable loot from the undesirable stuff and simply reprocess the cheap stuff without harming the valuable stuff.

The goal as I see it is to simplify selling. I don't care whether it's more profitable to refine or sell something costing 10k, if I could choose all items selling for 10k and refine them to avoid hundreds of mouse clicks I would.

Pro Synergy again solves a different problem.

Eve Refinery looks at your assets, then tells you the median buy price in your area. You can also sort buy Highest buy in region or lowest. It really is a fantastic tool.

Get that, then your problems are over.

As much as I understand, what you want is an option to sort items by value?... Doubt it will ever happen, because market in EVE is player driven. prices changes all the time.
Your best bet is eve refinery.
After running missions for couple months I usualy find myself with 600 different items. After sorting it with eve refinery I end up selling around 150 of them. all others goes to reprocessing.
It's not that hard - get all items in to a can, make it show list, sort it alphabeticaly, and do the same with eve refinery.
It will take around 10 minutes to separate items worth selling in to different container. and that time wasted is less than you would waste selling those 450 items by hand.
Further more, if you don't want waste time for items under 100k, set up eve refinery to ignore price difference of 100k or less. that way all items worth less than 100k will be shown to be reprocessed.
