Played eve on and off since 2003 doing most of the things that can be done (null, industry, big corps, small corps, low sec piracy, wh's). You can take your pos bashing, gate camping, bubbles, blobs, off grid boosters, ECM, hot dropping, e-honour, and super serious nerd powertrip fc's and stick them up your arse.

Give me 1000 shitfit rifters and a bunch of people that play a game for fun over some bizarre concept of internet spaceships honour any day of the week.

RvB the only group to have a 500 bantam bash. One of our members put 500 t1 bantams in space. About 50of us were in rhe event. We warped from the bantam staging area to our combat location, blew each other up, then warped back to grab another bantam.

Was it elite pvp? No
Did it teach me much about elite pvp? No

Was it just plain funny? Hell yes
Was it fun looking at the star map, with the kills in the last hour stat on and seeing our battleground as the biggest blob on the map? Hell yes

It's not about elite pvp. It's about having a good time.
