No, again, i am at home, connecting with me HTC Insipre 4g via usb connection share. I AM ABLE to access via web all the links supplied, THE ONLY problem i have is when the client needs to update which produces errors as i supply them. I AM able to use the PS3 Network with the mention connection method. The only PROBLEM is with UPDATES. I HOPE today the game doesnt need to patch cause i manage to go to freind house and updated and i was able to play if you look at the logs.

AGAIN another f 0 kng update, CCP STAFF, will you be able to FIX this problem? or do i have to just connect thru other method???? Seriously?? Isnt there another way to update this GAME without me having so many problems? Well i gues si am a single player and you are not entitle to invest time and effort to a single paying player. GG

I'm trying to help you. I've already stated that your connection appears unable to connect to our servers, for whatever reason. I would imagine it's due to the tethering but I do not know why that would be. Do you have any links you can review regarding data transfer capabilities of either your phone or ISP?

I dont understand what you ask.

You've bought a phone, with 4G capabilities, and have tethered it to your computer/laptop to be able to surf the internet with the package provided by your internet service provider (ISP) or phone company. Now, both of them will have some documentation; the phone will have one detailing the capabilities of the phone itself, and your ISP should have provided you with some form of documentation detailing what the service is that they are providing you with.

Do you have either of those?

I ask you MR. CCP Atropos, why can i play liek i stated that i was online before DT, and why i am not able to patch, seems that the problem is not with any documentation at all. As i chat i am with att support to see if i can get to the button of this. Since askign ccp staff is a daunting task, and sorry if i sound a bit disconfort, but you ccp staff alway blame thrird parties.

Completely ignoring the help being offered to you does not really help your situation. CCP Atropos is just trying to collect relevant information to try and help you with the issue.

With situations like this, it does tend to be the connection type or ISP that causes issues patching. I had issues ~5 months ago where I couldn't patch but could play fine if I got the patch elsewhere. I could ping all the relevant servers fine, I just couldn't download. The issue was indeed with my ISP (specifically the router firmware) so it's quite reasonable for CCP to assume it is third party for a majority of issues.

Well i guess ill simply will never wil lbe able to patch unless i go to a friends house, CCP STAFF please dont fix things that arent broken. ATT told me that they dont have any restrictions. Thanks CCP really THANKS.

That IP is the logging webserver that we have hosted on Amazons cloud infrastructure, and probably won't repsond to ping requests.

I've been following up via email with this. For anyone else experiencing a similar problem you can attempt to force the given build number with the /build commandline argument. In this case executing launcher.exe /build:504554

Greetings again CCP Atropos,

At this point I am giving up. I was hoping for simple solutions, but seem CCP staff has not been presented by my particular situation. I will not give it more time since it will get my hopes on and then I will rage and probably end up banned from game. It really soks not been able to play without having me to switch providers or method of connection. The funny thing is that Playstation Network is able to connect and play other games, like WoW, Starr Wars/CoD among other titles. CCP needs to work on real issues instead of fixing things that are not broken. Sadly, I can play online but when updates are needed I am left behind. It’s cool; I don’t care just focus on the important stuff. I am simply a low life paying customer that has a real issue and no one in your staff able to comprehend the situation. If only I was able to buy _PLEXs in bulks like other rich folks, maybe, just maybe then I will get the real support. I hope you understand my frustration.

your provider is most likely blocking big file download.

mine is doing that, to stop the "I didn't download that 70 megs files!!" complain at their CSR desk. I'm limited to 50 megs IIRC.

Updating big file on your 4G wireless phone is never a good idea, even if you got enough bandwith allowance.

Maybe you can call your provider to ask them to remove those restriction.

That is not my case as i am able to use torrent and download 1GB files. This is a case for the twilight zone, in which there is simply no solution, only that i need to change provider PERIOD

Hello Atropos and guys.

Launcher cannot complete the 1/4 validating client part when trying to get the RepairDate_514947.dat file . Seems like "cdn1.eveonline.com/" is unreachable for some us ; more like DNS issue.

The link to the cdn1.­eveonline.­com/­510260/­EVE_Online_50455­4-­510260_win.­zip zip provided here is dead to me as well.

I have exactly the same issue as Sanche, any suggestions?

I tried to manually download the patch but it also failed at this address http://content.eveonline.com/514947/EVE_Online_510260-514947_win.zip

My provider is neuf.fr if this helps?
