Fat people cost to much to clone and wouldn't fit in thier pods. Plus this is the future, everyone can be engineered to be thin to save resources.

Ture that. I sometimes command on these huge transport ships and they are full of the kind of tourists shown in this picture. If I'd crash into a water planet, we'd float.

But in all seriousness, I would not mind more variety in avatar creation. I don't have my hopes up because of the overall look of the game has to be kept.

Also, human fat is apparently a good source for fuel: http://www.disinfo.com/2012/03/can-fuel-be-created-from-human-fat/ I could see a capsuleer using that technique, when needing to jumpstart a ship ;)
