Ship for Running Nullsec Magnetometric sites?

I am trying to work out what would be the best ship to solo magnetometric sites in, mainly one that can tank enough to get all the salvage, kill any jammers, and do all this in a timely manner.

Many ships can do that, if you are Caldari, the Drake and Tengu are pretty obvious choices. I fly the Ishtar, and think that is among the best ships for profession sites. Slot layout allows you to fit salvager, cloak and analyzer without gimping dps or tank one bit.

I really prefer to have a cloak on exploration ships, and maybe that 100MN AB is not the best choice. You need to zoom from can to can and oversize AB makes you quite clumsy.

Not enough familiar with shield tanking, but I wonder if that has enough recharge rate or buffer to tank it all - warping out after fiddling with the cans may(will?) cause the site to despawn.

Can you fly the Gila? Drones really shine in profession sites, you can work on the cans and let drones kill the rats on their own.

I can fly a Gila, I actually happen to have a BPC for it too.

If you can't fly Ishtar then use Gila. Those two ships are quite similar in practical application but Ishtar is just better for that specific task.

I love running mag sites - using a sleipnir currently but used to use a hurricane. Luckily i'm in some safe space - I wouldn't risk a sleip in more dangerous territory, but both ships can fit a salvager, analyzer and generally a cloak whilst still having good tank and DPS.

There is the thing that you need to be able to kill and tank 3-4 BS's + rest of the spawns, other then that the rest is just a bonus.

So question is do you have time to wait in regular BC to kill all those BS rats + forever minutes per looting + trigger spawns.

for everything other than angel areas , ishtar is the choice of ships for nullsec radar&/mag sites. For angels, gila. This is from my own experience using these.
