More FX for incoming damage.......

This adds on to my last idea of way better ship explosion fx and the new missle fx looks great on the preview video. I think a layered effects system is now possible to run on eve. So a shield tanked supercarrier would have that similar effect as the invulnerability field but when the projectiles strike the shield it would have a ripple like effects. An example is looking at a calm lake in a light rain. You could make some other effect for the lasers hitting the shield too I just havent thought of an example for that.
Same with armor, projectiles cause dents and heat damage type effects and lasers cause that burning heat damage. Last you have structure. I would like to see the ships hull with some holes and realistic 0g fire inside and around the ship burning. It would be cool to see inside of a charon hull, burning in spots inside and around the edges before it reaches its destruction. Or a rifter burning with holes in it and pieces of its jet veins blown off as it escapes certain death. I had posted about the ship explosion effects too a bit ago and provided an example.

Now multiply this by 1-2000 ships, and watch your graphics card weep.

True, but at least its a local resource hog and not a a server hog + you can just add a setting for people with challenged video cards.
