Social V and Connections IV.

Caldari and Amarr.

I did all couriers, dropped tags starting from copper and boom around 4.75 standings towards amarr and caldari. Rest three tag levels require 5.00 standings.

Weren´t this used to be so that if you had social V and connections IV, you could raise your faction standings with tags straight to away without need for grinding? IIRC it used to go as high as 6+ something or nearly at 7.

Has something changed recently?

I would check out DeMichael Crimson's Faction Standing Repair Plan (look around, I think it's linked in the stickies). He probably has info on this.

(I know, I'm starting to look like a DMC alt)

Like every other missions in Eve the more people complete a mission (and the faster they complete that mission), the lower the rewards from that mission. Therefore you will see them change over time. The more people that run data center missions quickly (just accept and complete with the tags in your hold), the lower the standing bump will be. The exact formula is unknown but the general behavior is well understood.

This is why L4 missions that people like to chain are worth so much more missions that people do not like to chain.

I bought all the tags. But I forgot that half of amarr tags actually are tied to ammatar standings. So problem solved and all tags given.. Now to cosmos stuff..

Shocked

We don't look anything alike.

Anyway, 'The Plan' has been entered into the Evelopedia and can be found at:

By the way, thanks for the reference. Now you can just tell players to look up the 'Faction Standing Repair Plan' in the Evelopedia without mentioning my name.

Pretty much this.

It hasn't changed recently — it's been like that for quite some time, ever since tags became common enough to just buy in bulk and haul to the datacentre systems. By now, the average completion time for those missions is probably in the 20s range, which means that all rewards are pretty much pinned at their minimum values.

For Caldari and Amarr, you at least get the benefit of getting three factions at once (Amarr, Caldari, and Ammatar), so you're opening up a good number of ways to bump up those standings to overcome any gaps that might appear.
