Build a banner 200mil, rent a TS server such and such amount of million ISK.

In short, I am wondering what CCP's stance is when it comes to trading services or product goods in the exchange for ISK.

Say I make good money trading and what not. Who is to stop me from getting my neighbour lady to come over and exchange sexual favors in return for shiny ingame items and or virtual currency. Prostitution is legal in my country, and I suspect that small time direct trades like this would not even have to be mentioned to our national tax department.

So CCP, I am curious to come to understand how you view this kind of trading and to what extent allow and or have a policy of toleration on this matter.

I think this one should be easy;

A service like teamspeak, creating logo`s and such wont make you rich in normal money when payed in ISK (The EVE online version ;))

Except if this person is using the ingame current to RMT. In my point of view when paying with ingame ISK for an external service like teamspeak or a forum, you are not doing anything legal.

The otherway around like buying a Charon for 100 dollars or some other EVE item; then yes its.

But i thnk CCP can make more voodoo then i am doing currently :P.

edit: I wonder though; what if you are basing the price of your service to a plex? (€15).

Dude, where is my Quafe Megathron?

Stuff that directly enhances and/or complements your EVE-Online gameplay experience (voice coms, corp site hosting, private corp forum, graphic design for corp/player, 3rd party apps that interact with EVE or the EVE API, killboards, etc) purchased for ISK are all perfectly acceptable.

Stuff with no provable direct link to your gameplay experience can NOT be purchased with ISK, and will be treated as RMT if you do pay ISK to get it.

Stuff that only has a tenuous link to your gameplay experience and does not directly involve ISK payments ("buy me stuff IRL or I blow your ingame stuff up") is kind of a grey area, and more likely to be punished than left alone if reported (with proof).

Yes, this is a stance that was made public repeatedly in various dev posts over the years, references in news items and blogs, and you can probably find some of it in stickies or the wiki in protected pages if you dig around.

I think this is still against the rules technically. However, in my opinion, it isn't harmful to the game like RMT is. Especially if all the isk is paying for is a little art work or service specifically to be used for the game.

Something like a corp logo or forum service for your corp, I see nothing wrong with it. Paying someone in isk to do things that have nothing to do with the game such as washing your car or mowing your lawn is more in line with RMT. But even then, it doesn't seem as game breaking.

Is there an official stance on this listed somewhere already?

So I met this prostitute at my local red light district and I have been getting her into EVE. She really likes some of the faction stuff like the Vindicator and the Bhaalgoorn. Muscular masculine ships she says. So anyway CCP, is it okay to trade blowjobs for ISK or what.

If not, would you be against me giving her shineys instead, cause like.. I think it has to do with the game and then we are like both involved.

CCP we need to be clear on where we stand.
