Then just change ammo type and you're hitting for more than you would on a normal omni fit. It doesn't seem unbalanced at all. I've never seen someone with access to more than 1 damage type, not carry extra.

I fit Omni tank cause I'm basically lazy. I don't want to be switching out resistances all the time depending on situation,,, If I could always have the perfect damage resistance fit that would be almost like god mode and that would seriously make this game into something it's not.

…but that's just it: it won't let you have the “perfect damage resistance” unless under very specific circumstances. It will not let you omni-tank because it will only really work well against one or two damage types at a time, and even then, it will be worse than a properly selected fit. Trying to omni-tank with the new module will just result in universally bad resists.

Basically:

PvE — fit rat-specifc resists or a normal, current, omnitank.
PvP — fit a current omnitank,
PvP against a single, unknown damage type with relatively low DPS — the new adaptive resist module.

At no point will it even remotely come close to god mode.
