I've been in the female gamers channel.
And did you happen to notice who the majority of members belong to by any chance?

I'm glad I didn't think of that Isabella. I'm not one to commercialize myself. I'll talk to a woman and break the ice and find out what she likes(hopefully me Big smile ) and her dislikes (hopefully not me Lol). See if she's interested in the same stuff as me and since you play eve, that's a good start but then again, I'm just another main growing up or shall I say skilling up. you can't skill 4 years of eve time into 6 months (wish I could, who wouldn't want such a thing).

OMG, there's something wrong with you. lol. If you read carefully, I was making light of the idea of creating a "manly" channel and equating it to someone, not me specifically making a channel to sell their bachelorhood. Both ideas are downright awkward and corny. Some people dig corny. To me, I find it perplexing. But hell, to each their own right? Like minds think alike, and so I am sure there will really be people who show up. So, call it a fail troll or whatever, I just found that a bit funny.

Even though I was under the impression that 99.99% of all the player channels in Eve were already all male, I say kudos and well spoken to the op and this manly idea!
We real men need a refuge from those hen pecking 00.01% of Eve players. Namely women Eve players!!
After a hard days work at the video game store I like to come home sweaty and unbathed and sit down in front of my computer and play Eve online while I drink beer and fart. When I know there might be a rl woman in my chat channel I don't fart as much or drink as much beer.
With this new channel that hesitation won't occur anymore.
So again kudos to the op. Also you might want to consider a chat channel just for male gamers with female avatars. Just a thought.
We could discuss dancing in stations and stuff like that in that channel which might not be appropriate for the all male channel.

How could I have missed this testosterone laden post??? "Manly men" reminds me of an SNL skit with John Beluchi. The kind of manly men they were, I wouldn't bend over to pick up the soap on that ship.

A good little test I learned to detect manliness is, if you say "clang! clang! clang!" and someone says, "went the trolley!" Guess what? If your whole chat channels says, "Went the trolley!" you're probably in the right place.
