Press Release: My resignation as CEO of the Teraa Matar

Greetings.

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce my resignation from the Teraa Matar. Ailing health has begun to interfere with my ability to perform the duties expected of a corporation head and CEO, and rather than subject the membership to hindrances caused by this, I have simply decided it is best if I step down.

I have named Kikia Truzhari as my successor, and my resignation from the Teraa Matar will be complete tomorrow.

I would like to thank everyone, from my corpmates to my allies, for helping build TRA into the entity it has become. A corporation is more than one individual.

To my former employees and comrades in the TLF, it has been a pleasure flying with you and learning from you. I am sure we will see more of one another in the future, as I and a few others from TRA, who have generously decided to accompany and assist me,
will continue the fight.

Fly Free,

Avlynka Surionen

It has been my pleasure to fly with Ava for over a year now, and I would like to publicly say that wherever she goes, I will follow.

Ava,

I could probably count on one hand the amount of things you and I actually see eye-to-eye on. Having said that, I have always respected your dedication to your cause, as flawed as it may be.

I wish you all the best in your future and hope that you can return at some point.

For the Record

I have been authorized to publicly release that the Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive is already working to renegotiate with Teraa Matar's new leadership in order to maintain current positive standings. We look forward to more joint operations and developing our friendship with our Minmatar allies in the fight against piracy.

Off the record, Avalynka, I wish you the best of luck and continue to offer support should you ever need it. You are welcome in my home whenever you care to stay.

I cannot help noticing the date and therefore must take this release of information with a rather large dose of salt.

much the same thing can be said about Merdaneth's recent comments on the IGS

Congratulations for doing no research whatsoever.

I am not currently connected to my capsule Kalaratiri. however my point regarding the date remains true.

you have my condolences on your ailing health. all have the right to die with the strength they showed in life. and you have certainly showed strength in the past.

It has been an honor to take command of Teraa Matar. Its been a rocky few months but I hope we can recover, and prosper. I will do my utmost to uphold the matari way, and to fill Ava's shoes as best I am able. I wish Ava the best of luck in her future endeavours, and we will do our best here to aid her in whatever path she takes.

Teraa Matar is not finished, not by a longshot.

You were a hell of a CO, Ava.

Best of luck, and remember that you have a place among us, anytime you want to take it.

I must echo what's already been said: I wish nothing but the best for Avlynka and Kalaratiri. I have no doubt at all the path they choose will be a good one.

Avlynka helped me see where I need to go in life, and for that I will forever respect her and thank her. I would be honored to keep flying in fleets and continuing my spiritual studies with her.

Thank you.

I have no doubt that Starfire and Kalaratiri will be plaguing the 24th Crusade and STPRO forces with their trademark form of warfare when they have recovered from this political and logistical upheaval. Teraa Matar has lost a few good pilots, it's future is in question. What there is no question about is that Starfire and Kalaratiri remain dangerous, dedicated and respected.

When you have come out of the other side of this, I expect we will be matching skills. Your loyalty is misplaced, but I have to respect the skill with which you ply your trade. Return to the fray soon to add a bit of excellence to a war zone primarily composed of blow hards and amateurs.

Should you ever realize that fighting for a Federation client state is not your true calling, you should know you have brothers and sisters in spirit here in the State, people who value a martial culture as much as you do. Until then, stay true to the reputation you have crafted for yourselves.

Indeed, Madame!

As you say, perhaps it would be better for Mlle. Starfire to fight for a culture that facilitated and still facilitates the continued slavery and oppression of her people by powers foreign, as opposed to fighting for her own people directly.

That makes a bunch of sense.

Federal forces showed up with weapons when the children of Matar needed it. Meanwhile, the State gave the Transcranial Microcontroller to the world.

Go back to your hole.

I have to say, this statement was in poor taste, given the topic at hand. Thats all I'll say.
