Issues, Workarounds & Localization

As seen here, it's quite dated now. http://support.eveonline.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=124 Are these still valid or have they changed? In this thread Devs cite hardware issues as the reason for the drifting clock issue, what hardware would that be? Also, I am not over clocking and I never have. Nothing in my configuration has changed and yet for the better part of a week now I cannot resume playing EVE as I had previously since this patch

So again I ask, have the recommended and minimum system configurations changed? If so, when will they be updated? I'd like to weigh my options here and having the correct information would go a long way in helping to make an informed decision. At present, keeping my subscriptions current isn't very high on my list of priorities. Simply replacing things blindly for the sake of doing so isn't an option for me, I'm not made of money.

So if CCP are aware of certain conflicts with hardware, OS, etc, it would be nice to pass that information along and update the recommended and minimum specifications accordingly.
