Anyone have any experience with 1200s for OTCs vs 800mm? Are they better?

stick with 800mm. Overall (for otas, nmcs, ncos) it's better cause with 1400s you are stuck with OTAs and it is quite beatable by a fleet that knows what they are up against.

I'm thinking of 1200s rather than 1400s.

Honestly it only works is your whole fleet composition is with the same type of weapon (which just wont happen unless you are running with corp/alliance or one of the super shiny fleets). 1400s have a better alpha and is preferred. But i still think on average that 800mm is the way to go.

Sure if you run into a string of OTAs you'll be fine, but then you are leaving your success to chance and that's never good.

1200's are not worth the time, 1400's is were it is at, You also set two groups of guns.
