Scandium Spike Mid March

I noticed Scandium (historically worthless, and having spiked high in the past due to manipulation) spiked from 2000isk/unit to 4000isk/unit in a matter of two days (March 11-20th), held steady at 4000 for a week, and then spiked to 5000/5500 on the 23rd and has held in that area for a week.

I'm assuming this is more SCAMdium manipulation. However there are many game changes on the table I have not fully looked into that are affecting some prices. I don't believe any of the moon goo changes have been finalized in any way so I doubt this is the case.

Any thoughts or applicable threads I missed?

I think its more the issue of southern region reactions getting disrupted due to war.
