Armor Compensation skills (incorrect)

To active armor hardeners: 3% bonus per skill level to Armor Explosive resistance when the modules are not active

To passive armor hardeners: 5% bonus per skill level to Armor Explosive resistance

This is either implemented wrong or needs to be rephrased.

The way it works now when active hardeners are off it adds the percent(%) to the amount so at lvl 3 insted of the natural 1% it is 10% which is what the skill says it does.

However for passive hardeners it is not a bonus it is a bonus modifier. the 20% is changed to a 23% at lvl 3 on the skills.

Effects Currently
passive: Base% * (1+ (skill_lvl*.05))
Active(while not active): Base% + (skill_lvl*3)

Same wording Very diffrent calculations!
Either the wording needs to be changed or the bonus to passive hardeners need to change.

Just figured id comment cause its driving me nuts. Thanks if anyone decides this is worth looking at.

I think the wording should change. Changing the bonus to passive resist mods to behave the same way as it does with inactive armor hardeners would make passive armor resist mods way overpowered.

Good catch, though. I assume most people train the skill for the passive bonus and don't really care about the bonus to armor hardeners.
