I am very excited about the upcoming Goon suicide gank fest that is coming to Jita in a month or so. I was thinking this might be fun to bait a few tornados to death on the 4-4 undock. 131k EHP with my skills, not very expensive considering the ISK required to burn it. Maybe this has a shot of docking before the full alpha is felt? A launcher to whore on KMs if there's not enough on grid to kill it and someone is making a boo boo. Also salvagers to clean up the mess. Big smile

Looks good to me, although I'd swap out the lows for cargo expanders.

Also, if no one told you, we're not ganking all the ships in Jita. Just the shiny ones and industrials/Freighters/Orcas.

Yep, I know. I'm hoping for mistakes, confusion, and a dash of looting to make it fun. After all, thousands of goonies in tornados lusting for blood... sounds like a situation ripe for exploitation to me. :)

If you have some spare powergrid I would drop some armor plates and eanm in the three residual lows. While in common situations you don't want to mix tanking types, anything that raises your EHP is good in this situation.

If you can't fit even a single armor plate and armor harderners do not give you a decent increase in EHP try for reinforced bulkheads, they don't cost any powergrid and DC2 is already giving you a 60% resist on structure.

EDIT: after fiddling a bit with the setups I think that PDS2 is the better choice. Armor plates would give you slightly better EHP if you found a way to fit a 1600mm, which is by using a squire EC-6 implant. Probably not worth the effort.

OP is failing bad ..... Why would the goons shoot a damn drake .... wasent this whole thing about blocading jita from the industrial-related ships ?

The quantity of ISK is irrelevant. Given that our ISK is supplied by a currently unlimited and unending pipe of moon goo you can just eliminate ISK from the equation.

Ships that could potentially be carrying expensive crap will of course by primary targets. But when they're dead everything else will have to be killed.

I wish I could believe that actually, but not even the Goons have the resources to make this permanent.

Also, you seem to assume that it is my goal to "win" by your definition somehow. My primary goal is to LOL a few times before it comes to an end. My secondary goal is to create killmails that I can call up and LOL at later. A half bill of dead ships to kill my lil' Drake is hilarious to me. I could not care less how much "actual damage" it does to goonie alliance wallets. You guys are adorable though, never stop posting!

Yup, let's do the math. To keep things easy, assume 10 'Nados to kill 1 Drake. 180 Drakes. 18-man corp w/10 Drakes each. Suddenly this sounds much less dramatic.

It is possible to drop one of the Diagnostics and add a 1600 plate for another 5k EHP. I'll have to mess with this more later. Nice to have all this time to get things in order before the party starts. :)
