They don't because they don't know what a "Jita" is.

I seem to remember when I started playing Jita was on the avoid list for my autopilot...

Jita won't be that big of an issue. First off, the plan announced is a month before the planned date. So that is cool. Second, there are many market hubs and places stuff get sold. There is no mission agent either. Without agent quality, even that doesnt matter. An event like this shouldn't affect any player who actually is in some way part of the community or attentive. Peeps will put cans in nearby systems and the like. Also if promoed right by players, good eve PR.

Oh, and when they introduced the ability to add systems to avoid, Jita by default is on that list. Unless you deliberately head there, you will never enter jita.

Jita needs to burn
I am just disappointed that it is the Goons that are doing it and not CCP that fixes this hole in the game.

I have a small hope at least that the disturbance will last until mid-summer so the traders gets some ok volume and production done elsewhere in eve.

God forbid some of the business actually was moved out to NULL sec.

Are you really going to allow this to happen?

Can you not see that goonswarm really is trying to ruin eve and not as darius johnson stated trying to ruin a players game. Cos ruining a players game, makes them wanna quite, hence ruining eve as a game and product...

I mean they have grown so big that they now pretty much can control eve in anyway they want... First Ice Miners, plus other stuff and now this...

not sure i want to play a game where one alliance can control a whole game, when they want and how they want with pretty much no consequence. They lose 100 hurricanes, so what..their trillions in the stupid amount of moon good they get just keeps the constant churn going.. They could do this everyday for a year and have no problem doing it...crazy aint it...

Sorry you don't like people kicking sand in your face. You could always leave the sandbox if you don't like it.

So in a sandbox where you have to grind isk to have options have fly ships etc

You are jealous they have trillions and can play how they want?

If the Goons want to sack Jita - good for them and I wish them every success. Even if they try and fail, all credit to them for trying.

If it happens, (and is not just the Goons talking big) it will be the best thing to happen in Eve for a long time.

I live in Jita as well :(

Huh, according to the OP's post history he is apparently a pvp player who doesn't like groups that wimp out and won't attack some enemies a few systems away. And yet we see doom and gloom about a little non-consensual pee vee pee in Jita coming from an alt. Did the OP have a change of heart lately?

Not directly unless I misread. I know they said pie tags, which would be value for that. I cannot remember the buy out of sec, but I do remember the post finished with "....but it would be very expensive." So in a way either indirect or direct, yes.

Instead of crying, why don't you start up a corp, purposefully recruit newbs, and train them in the art of survival...or do you even know how?

Just move to a different trade hub then. Ironically, the only people who will truly be hurt significantly are those involved in T2/T3 manufacturing

Currently Jita is the only place where you can find moon goo, reaction products, and T2 components all in one place in significant quantities. Now, large alliances can avoid this problem by building T2 items instead of hauling their moon goo to Jita to sell. However, middle men and smaller alliances who don't have access to enough moons to form a vertical monopoly will suffer greatly as Jita is the only (current) location where they can go to buy/sell their goods.

If Goonswarm takes this idea to the extreme, we might see people move to a new moon goo trade hub. Of course Goonswarm could just move to the new trade hub, so we might see multiple smaller hubs spring up instead. OR T2 manufacturing may become a purely 0.0 endeavor and the middle men (such as myself) will get cut out completely - which seems to be Goonswarm's objective. The Mittani certainly has pushed for T2 manufacturing to be moved to 0.0 while he was in the CSM.

Scambots, Marketbots, lame high sec wardec corps, vultures, gankers, griefers and a few normal players looking to buy or sell something.

Seriously, will anyone even notice this burn Jita thing when added to the mix?

Controlling a whole game?So mass suiciding in one of the many many systems eve is rich or shooting down mining ships in one region of the many eve is rich is ''controlling a game'''.You must be a goon alt as obviously you are making this look a lot bigger then the lill raindrop it is.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

T2 manufacturing is highsec because most alliances don't have or attract enough industrialist to supply the required materials needed for production. If nullsec became a goldmine (no pun intended) for industrialists to make money, they would look more at coming out and alliances would be more willing to get them in and protect them.

What is this?

Jita should burn, it should burn down to the fecking ground. Not saying that because I support Goons, or the Null sec players, I'm saying it because maybe it'll finally break Jita's stranglehold, and we can see a more dynamic universe wide market spanning out into Dodixie, Rens and Amarr rising to be on par with each other and the **** hole that is Jita.

Why? So we can eventually go to the ****hole Dodixie?

I want Jita to burn so I ca watch the fireworks!

Despite my posting prowess I really am terrible at this game
