Since CCP pushed out their new launcher... Every patch destroys my client, I have to fully reinstall to get it working again. I live in Thailand, on my link it takes about 6 hours to recover a usable client after every patch. Yeah, I've parsed all the threads on how to fix things up, I wasted a lot of time on that too. Meanwhile, every other updating thing on my computer hums along peacefully.

I've had the same problem as you. I found that if i install free the windows and eve without installing any other game my eve will work fine.It seams that at the end of every instalation eve install's its own direct x and i belive that that is the problem.My eve worked fine for 5 days until i installed the other game Heroes of Newerth that also install's it's own dirext x at the end. So plese try to unistall eve without have any other games that install their own dirext x and see if that solves the problem.....

No way. My computer and other games are all working fine. The problem is CCP's new launcher. It's not really for me to fix or jump through flaming hoops or whatever. EVE was working before the new launcher came out, lets not go looking under rocks on mars to figure out what the problem is.

BTW, your EVE client behaved for 5 days in a row because the launcher didn't patch it into oblivion Ugh
