My char dissapeared altogether....

I don't know how the backend works for eb, but could something like be done with a drop down or text box filter, where you could put in the number of months (or years) of age of characters that you want to include, and the list is reordered to filter out any characters older than the filter number? So you could see who was the highest rank of six month old characters and younger, or three year old and younger. If that required a calculation every time, that would be bad, but if you had the calculations done already and this was just removing some of the people, maybe it wouldn't be so resource intensive. Well, I guess you'd have to hold those new sorts in memory somewhere, which could be bad, too. Just an idea. Alternatively, you could just store say ranks for every two months of age up to about 18 months, and then maybe for each year after that, rather than allowing users to specify any amount and having to keep it for each user.

I just noticed a slight bug in the overall (global) rank calculation. There are 35 categories but the average is calculated by dividing by 30. So either the 5 certificate categories should be eliminated (lowering all averages by 166.67) or the divisor should be changed to 35 (lowering all averages by 14.3%.) Neither change would effect the global ranking, just make it a little less confusing for those trying to figure out how it is calculated.

Also, Viggen is about to go DOWN! Out with the old, in with the (relatively) new.

I think its something that shows when you are missioning for a corp and thus your standings are changing rapidly (relatively speaking).

How does one upload a torrent to EVE-Files?

I'm trying to make the client available to some people having download issues.

I followed http://eve-files.com/torrent.dxd and uploaded a .torrent to my EVE-File account, and my seedbox is showing tracker.eve-files.com rejecting: Tracker: [Failure reason \"requested download is not authorized for use with this tracker\"]

Probably not, depending on what exactly you're looking for, per corp or sorta more global. The average faction thing is there, but going down on ranking per NPC corp kinda may at the moment bit a bit over the top without bigger changes in the code and database.

But I can put it on the list and try look into things and see what may be possible.

I was about to ask about an update on a couple stagnant skillsheets, but after going back a couple pages I have a question about the ranks categories instead.

Is Amateratsu correct, that characters who have a category maxed are ranked among each other by global rank? (and the order of the top 10 in a category can change in the future if their global rank changes?)

I was surprised to learn that skill date isn't a factor in rank sorting, and if that's the case I'm not so concerned about an update, as it's pure vanity training.

But just in case it's something you'd want to know about, I have a couple characters who haven't updated for 2 million SP +.
