I just purchased a new pilot through the Power of 2 and want to start him off making ISK. I was thinking a Indy pilot first and then other options later. My question is does anyone have a quick skill plan I can set him up for this? Or if it would be better to start him in a different direction to bring in income.

Get your Planetary Interaction skills up first. Focus on the ones that let you upgrade Command Centres, and run more planets.

Once you can run a few planets, train for industrials.

Hook yourself up with some passive PI income, and from there you can work towards whatever Industry goals you might have.

Also, would it be worthwhile to go through Aura's training missions again for the skill books and ISK? I haven't done it since starting with my first character over a year ago. Not sure how different it is now. I started it yesterday and have already run into a problem with it. On the first mission I get a rookie ship and then a laser and small sheild which she instructs me to fit in my new ship. Well you can't fit the small shield without training Shield Operation which costs about 30,000 ISK and they only give you 500 ISK to start with!

Yes, or...press F12 and go to the tutorials....then click through every one of them and get all the stuff aura would normally give you. You will also get some things that you wouldn't normally get because of your race. If you have never played, you should read through the tutorials, but as it is a second account, I would just skip through it to get the stuff.
