This is supposed to be a serious post and not a flame against some specific persons.
Regarding the recent events, one may agree the Mittani maybe went to far or goons in general
go to far. I do not want to discuss this nor do I want to express my personal opinion about them.

First, let´s gather some facts. It´s widly known that EVE is an "evil" game full of scam, theft, spying
and what not. It´s not only widely known CCP even advertises this as you can see in the Causality
Trailer.

Below the line, it´s the essence of this game.

But now let´s have a look into a completly different corner. When you buy a computer game
or console you will usually find something like this.
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/manuals/precautions_console_pak_english.jsp

Quote:

If you or anyone in your family has experienced symptoms linked to an epileptic condition (e.g. a seizure or loss of awareness), immediately consult your physician before using any video games. We recommend that parents observe their children while they play video games. If you or your child experience any of the following symptoms: dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitching, involuntary movements, loss of awareness, disorientation, or convulsions, DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY and consult your physician

If you have epilepsy you shouldn´t play computer.
Also if you suffer from brittle bone disease you´re probably not going to play in a football team.
If you´re mentaly unstable you should not play EVE. As simple as that !

So but now that CCP can´t read players minds, how should they know about someone beeing mentally unstable ?
Of course they can´t but instead they should force every player who joines to confirm an agreement seperated from
the EULA where all the nasty things that may happen to him are listed. In case someone gives statements about commiting suicide or threatens other players in reallife a GM should be contacted and the person needs to be removed permanently
from the game. EVE is not made for such kind of persons. This needs to be done to protect mentally unstable persons
as well as the "normal" players.
Just imagine the worst case. Some player joins because he has heard how he can scam other players in EVE.
He even saw an EVE advertisment that promotes exactly this. Then he scams a player who commits suicide about it.
Who would be responsible in this case ? I doubt there is an easy answer to this.

But also in regard of all the upcoming Cyber Bully laws, a "normal" player needs to be protected. Every EVE Player
should be forced to agree beeing virtualy b****raped, slaughtered, laughed at, robbed, killed , destroyed, anihilated.

I´m pretty sure 90% of the EVE Players know and accept this, but obviously there are always some special snowflakes.
