Dust 2?

The PS3 has a history of supporting it's "old" consoles so i wouldn't worry about it. All the people that are too cheap to buy a PS4 will be playing dust as it's free to play.

the implications will be that ps4's stay on the ******* shelves as sony further fucks its players like we're lowly children on xbox

Big smile

Aware of that - but UaT should be targetted for controllers, dontchathink?

Besides, not personally intending moving furniture around so I can use a desk for my console gaming on the plasma...but might have to consider it if auto-leveling is not an option.

I wonder how this changes things?

Oh wow its like a copy paste of that bad Xbox rumor that was shown to be just made up.

backwards compatibility dropping I can see but its prob not true. As I cant imagine that there was that much of a leap that they could not easily do backwards compatibility.

I asked this questions at PAX in 2011 at the CCP booth. CCP basically said they're future proofing DUST which leads me to speculate it'll run on the PS4 just fine as they likely knew about it before hand since they're working with Sony already.

Posted on main because I'm not a coward like the rest of you.

No implications at all as DUST is going to be a huge failure.

Dust 514 will port to the PS4 when CCP get around to it. And like pc users when the number of ps3 players drops to less than 1% then theyll likely drop stupport for ps3 dust 514.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

it's not that terrible when you can plugin your mouse and keyboard and put your ps3 on the desk next to your monitor.

Which funnily enough I've been doing for years, for watching blu rays. Now I can watch blu rays or play Dust while playing EVE on my second monitor Pirate

PS3 will stick around a bit longer as fans will have a hard time stomaching that last one. It'll take a while for full acceptance among the type of players who like EVE.

Yeah, I won't be buying one if they're going to be asses like that.

sounds about right, release just before christmas but they will only be able to make 1000 of them so they sell for $5000 a piece.

I recall one night in a nightclub called the matrix, there I was... Mother of god there I am! Holy f**k.

Called backwards compatibility... I doubt the ps4 when there will be one will be startlingly different in terms of architecture from the previous version. The frame work to build upon will allow for modifications of older games.

What's the issue?
