Ya, I was surprised they were so cheap. I've gotten used to thinking t2 rigs are 200m+

tanks xxx dps is nice, you need to try it out however ... don't stop moving, turn on your afterburner, maintain range and/or transversal, orbit your own sentries and you will be surprised how much "dps" even a single rep ishtar can tank. Obviousely webs and neuts are something that you will have to watch out for.

Is there an optimal range to orbit my sentries? 1k , 2k etc.? Closer means I can pull them in faster, further means I lose less speed when turning.

I don't mean to go off topic here, but an ishtar should do just fine for nearly everything, and is often better than a proteus. I use my ishtar to do everything up to and including 9/10's. The proteus can't put out much more DPS than a ishtar w/ sentries, and you have to move around. For an ishtar all you need to do is drop a can and orbit it and you have a mean sig radius tank+a decent armor tank.

TBH Ishtar>proteus/legion for ratting/plexing/exploration
