Request for removal of CSM tag from The Mittani's Portrait.

What The Mittani did at fanfest was morally reprehensible and finding that on his apology thread, his portrait still has his CSM tag.


If it could be removed so as not to act as a constant reminder of this whole sordid affair, this would help the community as a whole move on.

That does not mean we won't get somebody like Zastrow, Endie or some other prominent alliance member on the CSM 8 panel.

Honestly, it's just a label. I'd say they'll update everything at once, i.e. as far as CSM members change), even if this means the label is there for a few more hours or even days. It won't change anything. Plus it's not like he is a noname unknown without that tag. We know he's no longer there, but we still know his name, so nothing changes just due to some tag.

Or in a different way: They might flag me accidently as being part of the CSM and don't revert that change immediately. Does this give my voice any weight? I don't think so, and I really think we should stay a little bit more calm here. Right now forums are all about "get him back", "don't ban him", "good he's banned", etc. it's just annoying.

Player portraits on the forum are stored in a cache that is updated occasionally, not at the whims of the "Eve-Online Community". I'm sure CCP could force it to happen right now but I'm sure they have more important things to do than deal with something so utterly trivial.
