This is strictly out-of-pod but its a subject dear to many an eve players heart -

Tactical shooters and how there arent any (apart from arma).

Well the guy who made Rogue Spear and Ghost Recon (original) and Rainbow Six has put up a kickstarter which only has 3 days to go.

90k dollars are still needed for funding to go ahead. I would urge anyone with an interest to make a pledge.

IF it doesnt happen you get your money back, if it does we get a proper shooter for the first time in like a decade.

Worse: if it doesnt go ahead, major studios will take note and you can forget tactical shooters for another decade.
