I can't believe how colossally stupid the decision making has been at CCP.

Regardless of your side in this matter this dude has been brought to the for front of Eve's space drama. If you're pro goon you're probably not to fond of this guy. If you're a Mittani hater you're probably pretty fond of the dude.

Either way he's in the spot light, probably way more than he wants to be.

So. Long story short, you took a situation that involved a potentially unbalanced individual and decide the best thing to do was make a very public controversial decision that just brings more attention to an already troubled person. You painted a target on his back.

GOOD MOVE. Your continued lack of tact or good PR sense is amazing. This is probably worse than how poorly you handled the Aurum roll out.

It's simply a shame that CCP are obviously unable to take responsibility for this because of their Sony relationship.

I have no affiliation with TM the Goons or anyone but I see a stitch up when it is in front of me.

I've posted this before and I'll post it again.

If I invited you to a work site, let you get drunk then let you wander into the crowd with a nail gun - who would be at fault when someone lost an eye?

What the MT said was disgraceful. That CCP facilitated it and then has tried to wriggle out of the responsibility with Corporate "Suit" talk is a disgrace.

That's the thing. They over reacted because they were afraid its going to make the public spot light and reflect badly on their company. Sony is looking on as the release of DUST creeps up (which is btw a really huge business deal as it is the first AAA free to play shooter on a console, ever).

If anything they've brought more attention to this whole issue and I wouldn't be surprised if now it actually DOES make the light of day on a news site that matters and not some crappy blog that get's zero hits.

I would also like to add that members of the CSM knew that this was supposed to be big for the company as a whole. If they had spent less time playing RELEVANTSPACESHIPBAWSSES and more legit discussion of what's what with the game,we actually would have had a completely awesome fanfest.

Um no, the mittens put a target on the guys back. Those of you who are following mittens orders and harassing the guy are just as guilty now as mittens is. So adult human beings never make mistakes? Adults never make mistakes and sincerely apologize for them? Dont worry though, at this rate, the only thing that CSM will be representing is the political and marketing agenda of CCP.

He made a mistake. Owned up to, apologized, extended the olive branch to the dude he did wrong.

I think you've very conveniently confused "Being an adult" with "Being perfect" because you happen to dislike the Mittani. Being an adult means owning your mistakes, not never making any.
