You sound like a kid on a play ground screaming "do over"

i voted for the best candidate, i don't trust anyone else to steer this game in the best direction it can go in

I'm sure citizens of Germany would have said the same thing if ****** had been " asked" to step down. Your candidate screwed up, as some candidates tend to do.... he paid the price, as a representative of you; so now you pay the price.

It's fair.

he paid the price already, off of his own back, then CCP decides to stomp him more because it makes them look good

You chose a candidate, that candidate did something to get themselves removed from their position, now the next in the line of succession will take his place.

the outcome did work in my favour, he was voted in, trouble is he wasn't voted out

My US history is a bit sketchy, but I don't recall there being new Presidential elections after Nixon left office.

don't care, the two don't compare well at all

Then compare this:

You are not getting your vote back.

tbh i was dissapointed in him, untill he apologized and acted out of complete self-interest concerning the involved guy and concerning the position of chair, what came after that was a load of b*****ks from the un-informed community, people who never gave a t**s about the CSM before, never voted, and now claim to not want mittani as a representative, the backstabbing within the CSM, and CCP being week in the face of scary PR

Hm, let's see...

Comtroversial power figure known for militaristic tendencies and a harsh direct way of speaking is forced to resign his office amid public outcry and controversy over his own misdeeds and statements that were recorded and replayed over and over to public and press alike.

Yep, no comparison there at all.

Well if CCP is so concerned about what is right...how about the fact that they are guilty by the fact that they:
1) Provided alcohol at a public even
2) Continued to serve a person visibly intoxicated
3) Failed to provide proper supervision or interfered when incident occurred
4) Endorsed the behavior from the beginning of the event.

I voted for Mittens because he's a ****. If he leads a siege on Jita after getting kicked off the CSM, he'll still be enforcing the agenda I voted for so I'll keep my vote, thanks.

whilst this is true, he could of helped to make eve so much more, jita in flames will be fun, but it won't shape the future of eve

You dont get another presidential election if the current gets impeached or resigns... You just get the next guy in line.

Just sayin

Just for the sake of completeness, I should point out that that wasn't always the case.

Besides...if we just re-vote, what's the point of having alternates in the first place?

Just because you voted for someone that breaks policy and has to pay the price does not mean you get to vote again.. There are no 'do overs' . We would be calling for recalls every election year in the states if that was the case. I know voters remorse is hard to take so here is a tissue.. Misery loves company, you can go join the others.
