So I am looking to anchor a POS in 0.7 space. The character has caldari state standings of 6.24 and with diplo the standings are 7.01.

However it seems that the corp standings are still 6.24 even though the dervived standings are 7.01 with the diplo skill.

Is his correct?

corp standings are derived from raw standings of the members - back to the grind! :)

It's at this point that anchoring in a 0.6/0.5 system really starts to look nice don't it

I thought as much. I just wonder what those fancy diplo skills are for Roll

They are for agent access and for the empire navies not to destroy you when you enter their space. So less grinding for that. Either way yeah it sucks for the anchoring.
