CCP,

Thank you for taking appropriate action against someone who was dragging down the rest of the EVE community. Mittani misrepresented the entire playerbase and make us look like degenerates to the outside world.

You are going to have people complain and whine for a while, but just know there are an equal number of players who believe you did the right thing. We support you and the removal of mittani as the CSM 6 chair and a participant of CSM 7.

Nor should you. The excuse that he was drunk, sure, would work if the entire incident was spontaneous. The slide, however, indicates premeditation. That he was drunk during the presentation of a prepared slide didn't exactly corroborate the notion that it was spontaneous. The apology, although repentant, would have worked had there never been the slide to indicate that he premeditated the entire fiasco in the first place unless he could claim he's an alcoholic who needs help. Perhaps he does. *shrugs*

You do not speak for me. Mittani did a good job as the CSM chair. He made a mistake and owned up to it with out any prompting other than his own moral compass.

We would be better off if he were in place still. This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion simply by being in the public eye. CCP is over reacting and performing their PR damage control poorly as they always do.

Don't speak as if you represent all of us. Mittani may have made a mistake but that doesn't mean he's incapable or ill suited for a job he's proven he is good at. You've clearly forgotten how ineffective the CSM once was.

Also if you're going to be angry at some one for "Misrepresenting the player base and making us look like degenerates" how about taking a look at the guy that threatened suicide over a video game? I'm not fan of victim blaming but that sort of behavior is far more shocking than mocking some one.

Threats like that are made to get intention, they are rarely if ever followed through with. I'm more ashamed of that guy than Mittani. Which is not to say what Mittani did was ok but FFS neither was his public cry help stuff.

I'm not too sure why CCP needs an appreciation thread, just because they enforced their own policies on this type of behavior for once, but regardless I'll stand with the OP's sentiment.

CCP made the wrong call. Seriously, it took several days for people to actually go, "Hey, I think I found a way to screw Mittani over."

Had these people not developed soccer mom morality all of a sudden and called all of the media outlets that would report on it, the situation would have never occured.

CCP has just destroyed the legitimacy of CSM 7 (note: I did not vote for Mitanni, I voted for Two Step, and, quit frankly given his position, I would like to see him as a part of a legitimate CSM).

CCP made the wrong call, as they have often been fond of doing.

I appreciate CCP for providing a good game, but not for their decision-making abilities. Lets be honest, they do not have that good of a track record there, just sayin'.

EDIT: OP is a piece of ****, as is everyone supporting his actual notion.
