I used to hate the Goons.

But I am beginning to see that in the Eve universe, The Goons are quite necessary.

Most of Eve is players doing what they do, trying to get by, maybe grab some space or some shiny stuff. Then there are the major alliances, building empires... Without Goons to repeatedly tear it all up (or at least vigorously try)... What would Eve be?

I think it would be boring. One thing we can always count on in Eve, perhaps the only real constant, is the Goons lurking in the shadows, waiting to harvest a tear or two.. When we want to blame someone, anyone, for all the bad things in Eve, there are the Goons.

Although I am not particularly interested in being a Goon..(for now anyway)... I am starting to admire their consistency.

And to be honest, I am very curious to see Jita locked down. lol.

That's actually well written, and not contrived.... The the part of hello kitty online seems to be ****** out by goons... As well as post with your main, and pubbie... So goons need to update their catch phrases.

And honestly wrecking hi sec will be a good thing... Might force a few people to pvp...help the economy... and blow up a **** ton of tengu or RNI bots.... So if you guys wanna go outside jita... I'm just saying... Hit Amarr too why dont ya?

If a suicide ganking campaign merits a permaban then this game is done for.

I understand stuff can be faked, I will read up other stuff to determine if true. If that is somebody faking to be Mittani, then all comments below can be ignored. If I find proof to that, I will delete this stuff (if I remember)

Edit: Important to add: Hope you get the RL issued cleared up, That happening when you were trying to rectify the situation is beyond bs, I hope the cops find them and lock em up

Interesting points there. First, why didn't it turn up til monday? Many people, like myself, hadn't caught the stream, and it took a couple day for word to spread as people returned from weekends, and whatnot.

Mittani, yeah, there were haters. He called it a political push, but people disliking your actions is really the same as thinking carebears and pver's should get the heck out. One thinks that goons are bad for eve, goons think they are bad for eve. Look at the threadnoughts where people put up the carebears that act stupid to general eve and how they go. No real difference.

Remember the voice chat with the onieros blown up in 0.1? How long ago was that and it still gets brought up for lols from people who are the pvpers in eve. In this case, something that was viewed beyond normal players, so the carebears feel it has no part of eve, just for thinking it was something against human decency, not "Teh lamer"

Prior to reading that, I was giving respect to Mittani for how he handled it up to reading that. We all do dumb things. Was keeping quiet until decision was reached. Assumed liked eve and would accept a moderate punishment and come back to bring glorious fire to eve as a goon. This reads though as butt hurt and crying about it. Is that the goons? (Right now I really hope it wasn't Mittani that wrote that cause well, it does read like a carebear whine)

Anyways, I don't want to write long, but if that is Mittani, then that should be deleted, come back like the King of space, unleash some pain, because you are a goon, not cause some carebears got your tears.

Other point, you mention rant about a $70 Monocole that could be bought with iskie plexes. Amazing how the rioting, hate and burn CCP was so much more massive than people who are expressing distain, issues etc for a drunken statement to harass a player into killing himself (Yes, I know it was sarcasticly said)
