his apology is not real, becuase he now blames ccp and the media and alcohol for his actions.

He believes that ccp should not of acted becuase its ok to bring harm on someone. He believes just becuase the guy did not kill him self there was no foul.

You could bet your sweet ass if a suicide did happen, CCP would be sued, Mit would be sued, hell I am suprised people have not emailed his employer or his actions.

He thinks he did the equivalent of farting in an elevator.

What he actually did was play russian roulette on a stranger and got lucky.

But hey goons are mainly socio paths becuase they believe what mits did was right and that his only punishment should be 1 days good revenue.

His ban is pointless anyway.

Its just interesting to see all the people defend his actions.

Eve is a game about murderous interstellar pirates, and he has played a key roll in improving the game.


No it isn't. EVE is bigger than that. It's a game about making your own destiny amongst the stars of New Eden be you explorer, industrialist, factional warfare specialist, or even just another wannabe lone pirate playing parasite on the rest of the player base. It's supposed to be a game that offers options for everyone. Instead, thanks to limitations in game play design a few entrenched power blocs beholden to RMT interests have been dragging it down into a cesspit of juvenile bull **** where the only thing important is them and finding new ways to aggrandize their e-peen. Mittens never made a change benifiting anyone but him and his. Most of the rest of New Eden goes along casually and uncaring. Just playing at EVE. Go ahead and change that. Grief them all and see what comes of it. A short term win will end you in the long run.

on a serious note, is there any truth to the rumor that goonies and pets (test) are planning on going to wow? i heard your glorious leader is taking a 30 day vacation. wow would be fun for you ladies. they have sparkly vampires there. you might like that. plus you could hold your own election and elect mitstrumboli emperor for life. don't forget, they allow you to start a guild over there. you could call it "fireball of the bang". think how cool that would be, huh? i bet you would really like being in a guild hall rather than some silly corporation or station.

I find it humorous that “the GREAT mittani” thinks he was thrown under the bus by CCP when he was the one who knew there was more scrutiny because Sony and Dust 514.

If you read the last paragraph of the dev blog you will see that CCP is understanding a need to change the game further in the direction of "growing up." The larger the Goonswarm reaction to the ban on Mittani, the more sweeping the changes will be.

Mittani might have been sorry for a day but he's moved back to the "i was right all along" side of megalomania.

Go ahead and do your worst, oh friends who are Goons. It's only internet spaceships, as you are all constantly pointing out. Jita will burn, but because Jita is a virtual solar system, there will be almost no heat.

CCP in fighting you and in fighting this real world nastiness will only make itself look better. This did not have to turn into CCP versus Goonswarm, but in the end CCP will win. I'll stand by the company for doing the right thing. I think a lot of other players will do the same.

The post to which OP refers makes it very clear that the apology was not in the least sincere. Mittani's blog asks the question why the outrage was delayed until Monday when the panel was on Thursday. One might ask him the same kind of question. Why the apology on Tuesday when the event was on Thursday. Especially if he really staggered away from the panel with such a guilty conscience, as he claims.

This anger is a clear sign of how much hatred the Goons haves earned over the years. If you expect the people you've cheated, scammed, and sneered at to rally to your cause, well.... I guess I don't need to finish that sentence. I for one am enjoying watching you get your just desserts. Payback is a mother.

Oh dear God. I read it all. It was beyond sad. A classic example of someone who needs to get more happening in his life.

There's no point blaming the alcohol. All the alcohol did was loosen him up to reveal his true nature. Some people are happy drunks. Some people are nasty drunks.

This is just a stupid game. If I were him, I'd be taking a very long break from it.

1. Eve is a game about murderous interstellar pirates.

Playing the Pirate is one small part of the whole that is EVE.

2. and he has played a key roll in improving the game.

In fact he's hurt this games tremendously in the last week.
