The main point is there shouldn't be a revote. You dont get to vote again just because they guy you voted for ended up acting like a total assclown.

Yes but the point is built off of a completely wrong analogy. The CSM has more in common with a "House of Commons" or Parliamentary based system, in most of those systems if the elected official gets killed or arrested there is a temp to step in his place until another emergency election can occur.

In a presidential election you don't elect the president. You elect the President AND his Vice. If tomorrow Obama decided to go out and mow down people in Tysons corner for standing in the entrances too long: his vice president would take over. I wouldn't be disenfranchised, because a person I voted for is still in place.

I wouldn't mind seeing future CSM's run with an alternate for each CSM however. For instance we would have voted for The Mittani and his second _______. WIth the understanding that The Mittani would go to all functions and coach his sub in case he couldn't act.

I honestly kind of like that idea.

Ah. Being from the U.S, I am unfamiliar with such a process. And while I agree there needs to be some sort of system in place for stuff like this, I don't think having a second is the way to do it. Just have whomever gets the second amount of votes be the "stand in" in case someone "Mittani's" their CSM position.

No trolling please

The senate/house are basically parliaments.

You have silenced roughly 17% of the active voters in this CSM election. If CCP gives even the slightest interest in fairness there will be either another round of elections or at the very least the 10058 should be allowed to recast their votes amongst the people in the running.

You did what you thought was right in banning Mittens and removing him from the CSM. Now do what's right in ensuring I'm not disenfranchised by your actions.

Your math is suspect little Bee, as well as your deposed Queen.....Lol

Based on claimed subscriptions, that's about 2.5% of the population in EVE, so I ask again, did you really believe a bunch of alts would make you kids all powerful?

Also, I for one am curious as to the current status of some of Goonism's most vociferous advocates?
These people seem to have disappeared at a most unusual time, when their stumbling Queen needs them most? Explanations? Cool

NOT MY CSM.

I will literally kill myself if we are not allowed to revote. Literally.

Generally we have what is called a by election if an MP is unable to do their job anymore for various reasons. Until that point the seat remains empty, that is why by elections can be rushed in the case of a sudden death as it is a short period of time.

If it involved a resignation or say for example declaring bankrupty then they tend to have enough time to inform their party and so the other parties and so a more orderly by election can be held.

If a by election was ran, Mit would have to be barred from it, for obvious reasong. Though in the next cycle he would be free to stand again.

3.4% roughly, but you know how some are about increaseing the size of things, even by this insignificant amount.

It would be good to remove the 17% that voted for people like this. Its a direct endorsement of similar activities. Purge those in opposition to the collective good. They are paper communist created of opportunity of the few instead of the whole. Round up and purge the Bourgeoisie, this cancer on our EVE.

Who, CCP? Heh. It was Mittani who threw away your votes when he resigned. As I said, use your brain next time you're voting and try to pick smarter person to be your representative. Bottom line: it's all between you goonies - deal with it~

There is no need for a revote. CSM alternates are there for a reason.
