I wouldn't really describe these damage control efforts as trolling. And from the posts on SA and Kugu quite a few Goons do appear to genuinely share this rather weird sense of outrage. Whether any particular Goon does is hard to tell but it's good of you to flag up the fact that people really shouldn't take the statements being made by Goons on these issues seriously. Best to have it straight from the horse's mouth.

Btw, can you confirm for me that the Mittani was 'trolling' with his apology as well?

I'm afraid I can't respond to you directly because I took a 6 month ban for threatening to kill myself if The Mittani was forced to resign. But now I've gone through the arduous process of selecting a different character on the same account, let's have a look at your post.

you're trying really, really hard to score points around this whole anti-goon thing you've got going on and as a result are taking a lot of posts seriously. i'll answer my earlier post for you: yes, you're being trolled bad. also "goon" isn't typically capitalised!

Actually, and unironically, you are completely right. I more or less retired from eve 6 months ago precisely because I take the game too seriously but I was tempted back a few weeks ago to do some pre-patch speculation. I now find that I continue to take the game far too seriously (especially the ethical angles) and I think I should call it quits for good. I've given away all my isk in the last five mins to deter me from coming back again. As the Zen master with the enlightenment stick I've sent you a small token to buy some Tornados or a new toon.

I agree, Mittani is one of the few that made me feel like he actually represented me as a player. I don't even like the guy but i think the punishment was way too much. You want to crackdown CCP? Why don't you crack down on all the players spewing the N-word and dogging jews and gays in local, everywhere in game? Hell, being on comms and chat with PL made me wanna jump off a building myself.
