I have no love for the Goons, but fair credit to Mittens for recognising the dichotomy between character and player personalities and in the process revealing himself not to actually be the sociopathic nutbar that many would make him out to be. Let the enmity continue in the game, not in RL.

Can the people defending The Mittens' words say the same?

All I can say.. after posting 3 different locations that I support The Mittani is; even though we would not see eye to eye in EVE policies is.... I want heads.... Mittens gets banned for 30 and steps down from CSM because he bullied a guy who was down... Which we still have no idea if this was a character trying to troll a troller. So what is the response from some of the Eve community and even a few obnoxious CSM members... To kick Alex when he is down.. Making them just like Alex, by there own definition. I want there heads, I want bans.. Give me them now. They are Cyber Bullying Mittens. CCP feed me some removed CSM heads. I have played this game for 6 years, EVE is mean evil and harsh. If you cant handle the harshness of Eve get out. If your life is screwed up.. log off.. I love this game, but right now... Im disappointed with some of this community, and embarrased by CSM poltical games amongst yourselfs. Politics over, your in CSM now work together not against each other. How do you expect us to believe that you can move forward together for us, if you cant work with each other. Go play WOW if you want to play nice, go play Star Trek online if you want to have no consequences.

Wow. Just wow.. I didn't even know of this till I got back in today.
First of all, I don't like Goonswarm and already i'm thinking of supporting them.

Darius III the door works both ways. The post in which you first replyed to this thread equaled one thing for me.. You don't care about us, just about gaining a spot up in the CSM.

The Mittani, I voted for you because I thought you were best out of the other people on the csm voting list. The fact that you do even though your a leader of Goon understand a few of eve's flaws and are trying to fix it without most of the political bullshit you'd get from other people. Thank you for leading the CSM last year.. This year. You made an fool outta yourself when drunk.. and i'm sure you won't get drunk anymore in the spotlight and I urge you not to. P I seen your apology first. If you don't go around doing it again, I won't pull this apology back. Other then that.. I think you made the right choice by stepping down as chair, but don't let these idiots ruin the CSM by their failpolitic's. Your the only one that keeps them in line. :P

Oh and other goons. I only Semi-hate you now. Mostly because.. Well i'm not sure why I hate you, cept that a few of your players get annoying fast. If you have any words to be said with me, you can gladly drop me an eve mail. I'll get around to it whenever. :P

Took you a year and a spectacular rerun campaign to figure out that the two positions dont mix ? Err .. sure .. if you say so.

Had you been the first speaker at the panel then none of this would have happened. You wouldnt have been intoxicated enough to slip up in such fashion. The thoughts would still have been there and the requested actions would proberbly still have been taken, but they wouldnt have been voiced and none would be the wiser or as upset as now.

The mistake that has been made was to provide a herd of mainly males with an abundance of alcohol during a live event and assume nothing bad could come out of it, while at the same time announce the start of a major development feature to a select group of poshed up wannabee alpha's. Some media coverage right there those distinguished brainfarts dont want to be associated with.

Step down from chair over this ? You shouldnt have and i wont buy the reason you give eihter.

Apologies about the chair m8, you did what you thought was right in hindsight. I will still vote for you for CSM8, even if you decide to decline the chair again, as I think you do have a way about you that draws people to you and unites them for a single ideal. It is good to have someone in the CSM that is looking out for the bigger picture of the EVE playerbase, and not just a bunch of people who squabble and cannot agree on a point to unite under. o7 from a fellow Goon.
