He has also resigned from his position as Chairman of CSM 6 and has forfeited his right to serve on CSM 7. As per our policies, this candidate may be eligible to run at a later date subject to candidacy review.

The Council of Stellar Management is a democratically elected council that represents the players of EVE Online. Although council members may represent the players in any manner they choose, being a council member does not permit actions or playstyles that violate our policies.

Good on you for admitting that you ****** up and realizing that being the leader of the Swarm conflicts with being CSM Chairman. I'm no goon, but this is definitely something I can respect as a WH dweller.

No matter what others (like Darius III) say, don't step down from the CSM. EVE needs you and the nullsec nutcases who voted for you deserve to have the representative they want, and not the representative that carebears think the nullsec bloc should have.

Again, man, I commend you for giving up the power you had as Chairman so you can represent your people and play the game the way your need to, without your actions ingame reflecting poorly upon the CSM, CCP, and the EVE community.

I am not "happy" that any part of of this mess occured. I wish Mittens had not have made such a fool of himself. However, a 30 day ban from EVE Online and complete removal from CSM 7 seems like a fitting punishment in view of the violation. I am satisfied and can't accuse CCP of favortism or corruption in the matter if it holds true. It was a punishment they issued in light of their own rules. I figure select members of the CSM are reeling just a little bit. If nothing else, I can say I am glad some of this can be put to rest.

Sure, I can't ever fly near goon space with this character. lol... But in spite of any harsh seeming words it wasn't ever that kind of personal. Unless you've ever been targeted by that type of attack in real life I doubt you could ever get it. Stuff like that has no place in gaming. Hoepfully, it'll straighten him up and remind him of why it's a game and should stay that way rather than bleeding into real life so much.

Good luck with the next election Mittens. And that's not stated mockingly.

Apparently it doesn't matter how many votes he has now that CCP has booted him from the CSM entirely.

Though I'm still a bit confused as to what exactly happened... CSM & The Mittani announce that he will be handing off the chair to another CSM. (but staying on the csm right?)

Then the CCP post that Mittani has been removed from the CSM entirely and received a 30 day ban?

It could very well be any of them, but Darius has demonstrated his incompetence and lack of maturity, and I full-heartedly believe the CSM as well as CCP will take note of that when selecting a replacement for the Chairman position.

Who are you and why do you think your opinion matters? Mittani actually has a track record of pushing the CSM to do something other than being a lame duck and you're here going on about how you're ashamed of him and talking about hating goons?

YOU and CSM seats like you are why I want Mittani in charge. You've made this about in-game politics and rivalries while he's talking from a personal stand point.

He talked some trash and it happen to catch the public eye. I've seen things 1,000 times worse said in game the only difference is that there were no mic's around and no one cared.

Everyone is totally ignoring the things that's done well. Goon or not.

As someone Who openly felt that alex's behaviour was highly out of order, and also feel that although his stepping down is actually unneeded and should never have been pushed this far, it should certainly help. I'm not a religeous man however i believe theres a quote in the bible which fits here nicely "let he that is without sin cast the first stone". You're all condeming "The Mittani" for an action that "alex" (i'm not going to try spell your second name, appologies) Did at fanfest while drunk, and while surounded by friends and in a situation where everyone was happy, and giddy. I'm not saying this makes it right, but it certainly help's explain. you've all did stupid ****, anyone who says they havent did something they highly regret whilst drunk is a liar, he's openly admitted what he's done was wrong and is taking steps on his own to try fix the situation. i don't feel a ingame ban is fair for an action that was done out of game while at fanfest, it's like jailing someone in real life for a crime in eve. i honestly done think it matters anyway, the ceo of goonswarm is unlikely to have only one account, and all this is only really going to appease to the masses of idiots that have been annoyed by the mittani in the past.

In any case, i look forward to an unshackled goonswarm. Cant wait to see how the carebears and idiots pay for this.
