Wierd Launcher issue: Randomly, some other application running on my PC will somehow have it's ability to accept clicks hijacked by the Launcher. This has happened randomly to me twice from the Eve Client and once from M$ Excel. Frustrating - clicking to close a dialog box in Eve brings the Launcher to the front. Launcher would appear to be the culprit as the wierdness goes away once the Launcher is killed.

crucible 1.6.4 - I have the clock sync bug back ... since some clock sync changes are mentioned in the patchnotes, I guess that's the culprit. please revert back to pre 1.6.4 mechanism or I have to play with NTP disabled.

It never went away they made more changes in 1.6.4 that were meant to address the issue and while it is greatly improved the bug still exists it just takes longer to happen now. Looks like certain hardware is no longer supported as this apparently only affects some hardware.

‘No, this isn't it at all. Make it more... psssshhhh’.

well ... I have not seen the bug between crucible 1.5 and 1.6.3 ... first client launch after 1.6.4 patching and I got it IN THE LOGIN SCREEN !!! then about 2 more times inside an hour ...

I play on LInux/Wine, so that may alter things a bit ... but as mentioned, hour long sessions before 1.6.4 and no sign of the bug ....

Ok this was broke back when the Warp Tunnel was not aligned with ship travel (which still happens on occasion). BUT... during the fix, someone fixed it backwards!

IMPORTANT:
In the real world, when you travel near the speed of light or faster there is a RED SHIFT forward, and a BLUE SHIFT backwards.

I work at an Aerospace and Astronomy organization and when I was showing off the "beauty of EVE" at my home to some co-workers, they laughed. Oops Yes, EVE is not real, but this is embarrassing.

My friends asked me to send this to you: fL = sqrt [(c - v)/(c + v)] * fS

PLEASE rotate the warp tunnel 180 degrees, should be a simple point fix!!! Do it to maintain the beauty of EVE.

Ehm ...
You do realise travelling towards something means you are approaching it(ie the forward direction)
-> a blue shift
And travelling away from something -> red shift
Havent checked the actual game to see if you meant the other way or if your friends was having a laugh at you
or(i sincerely hope not) your friends who work in astronomy got it wrong Shocked

The jukebox does not stay in the mini format, but always grows back to its normal size when you jump a gate.

They were laughing at me. Well deserved. It's like living in an episode of The Big Bang Theory at times.

One little question.

Will this:

Pilots with a Global Criminal Countdown in high security space will be prevented from warping (if they are in any ship other than a capsule). This is to prevent a tactic declared to be an exploit recently.

from the Crucible 1.6.3 patch notes, prevent kills like this:

http://ransm.griefwatch.net/?p=details&kill=14397

from being perpetuated by players who have a security status below -5 BEFORE jumping into highsec to attempt the gank?

You, CCP, did not cover all fonts when you remade them.

Under Linux does one still need some of the Windows corefonts to display the numbers along the axes of the market graph (tab "Price History"). All other text and numbers do get rendered in your new font, which by the way is a really pretty font.

Please fix the numbers along the axes to use your new fonts.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

I am running WIN7, 64 Bit.

Since Crucible 1.5, I have been having sound issues. The sound scaling tied to the camera zoom seems to be malfunctioning.

The problem remains after installing Crucible 1.6.

In space, I cannot hear missiles launching from my own ship unless I zoom in so closely that my hull fills the entire screen, and then the sound is extremely intermittent.

Stargate sounds are almost nonexistent unless I zoom in on my ship and let it sit motionless next to the gate for several seconds, perhaps thirty.

Engaging warp drive produces no sound until the explosion unless I run with my ship significantly enlarged, and then the pre-explosion sound is rather muffled.

Ambient noises in space are gone no matter how closely I zoom in.

I can hear other ships when they approach the camera drone, but the sound seems to be centered on the drone, not my ship, and the sound is extremely muffled.

I realize problems take time to address, so I am not pressuring anyone for an immediate solution. However I am asking for someone to acknowledge whether this problem is known to exist, and whether it is being addressed.

I am attempting to determine if this problem is related to the recent patches or an issue on my end.

My wife and another friend are also experiencing the same problems, both also running WIN7, 64 Bit.

Prior to Crucible 1.5, I was able to run with my ship "zoomed out" to a position where it was barely large enough to see the thrust exhaust, and the sound worked nicely. It seemed to grow louder as I zoomed in on my ship. Since 1.5, the relationship between the zoom and the sound seems to be greatly distorted.

Thanks in advance for any help you are able to offer.

I've been having Graphical issues after 1-5 hours of client run time. A temp fix is restarting the Client but the graphical problems come back around the same time frame, every time.

Graphic problems include:Invisible celestial's, Invisible Ships, Transparent clothing, Light Lazer beams, Invisible star gates, a giant white lazer coming out of the stargate as a static Image, Weird uncloaking models after jump [Ship looks like a ghost], a white line where acceleration gates should be, Invisible stations, invisible collide-able objects, No warp tunnel effect, Entire planets invisible, Suns are invisible, If planets are not invisible color scheme changes. This is only a handful of weird issues with the graphics after couple of hours of playtime.

Same issue. If you do not restart the client, graphics degrade further and further. I rebooted when all of space was turned into a soothing peach colour.

Apparently, there are still numerous occasions on desyncs, for example when traveling (from system to system) in a huge fleet and suddenly your client isn't responding to commands anymore and we can still do trivial stuff (in comparison with controlling your ship in the middle of fleet/battle) like chatting or viewing other people's profile. This is so common that some people just aren't even bothered to submit a petition anymore.

On the opening screen, when you click the "Patch Info" button it displays the patch notes from 1.1.1 and nothing since then. Those are from September 2011.

Epic Arc agent - restarting arc message.

The message that should say all memory of this arc will be wiped for your mind, instead just says something like "UI/agents/epicarc/restart". The Yes / No button still works and afterwards the normal mission details appear.

Noticed with Amarr Epic arc agent (on 9/4/12)

I created a corp on the 1st Apr and non of my standings have transfered across meaning I can't anchor a POS. I have no idea if this has anything to do with the patch but with no information from CCP I'm going to assume it is.
