OK, worked. The (*) signs are gone. I did this while mining As I switched back to game (ESC) i realized that at the actual targets (asteroids) missed the small strip miner icons at the right.


I was in a Myrmidon, docked at station. Want to move some loot from the cargo to inventory.
So I marked only the loot (and not the ammo) and try drag it to inventory. But nothing happened.
After three or four atempts without success i mark6ed all items in the cargo and had success to move all to the inventory.

Then i want to move the ammo back from inventory to cargo, but this didn't work.
I opened the fitting screen. Want to move (drag/drop) a mid slot item to inventory. Didn't work.
Tried another mid slot item. Worked. The first one didn't work.
Then i tried with 10 seconds delay for release of the left mouse button. This worked.
But i wasn't able to fit another item back to the empty mid slot.
Decided for a clone jump then to try out mining..

So mined some ore. No problem with the ore to move it from cargo to the inventory.
Then i unfit the mining crystals from the modulated strip miners. First worked.
Second and third one worked after third try.
Now tried to refit the crystals. No success. After some minutes delay i could fit a crystal back to one strip miner.

I figured out, if i click an item and hold the left mouse key and move the mouse I don't see the item at the mouse cursor.
And in this case the drag and drop don't work.
If I try often enough, then it works.

I have mining crystals deposited in a secure container in the inventory for sorting.
Now i opened the secure container.
I'm not able to move anything from this container out to the inventory or to the ship fitting.
This i tried many times now. I can drop things inside the container, but never get one out.

Just a note: These strings with * appended to them are translated strings whose mouse hint will show up in english. This is done so that people can use some common language between them when telling each other what to fit and such.

These strings seem to be disrupting the focus on some UI containers, which is probably what is causing the inventory issue (as you are attempting to move the string, not the container record) and possibly other similar issues. Please keep the reports flowing, I'll be here till 2300 GMT to verify your reports and act on them accordingly.

I think you're describing the issue I described just above your post which I'm quoting

gfx card temp. seems to be up a fair bit since todays patch....any reason for this?

/very/ minor issue. Flavour text for the Scourges still says Trauma.

I can confirm the error by drag-and-drop of objects and search for planetary systems. In addition, I watch for a phenomenon: a object information window is fully transparent now and the menu settings does not affect this.

They still have the proper icon?
