EVE Online: Crucible 1.6 Issues

EVE Online: Crucible 1.6 has been deployed successfully. This latest expansion brings a fully localized Japanese EVE client and several small changes and fixes together with the start of EVE Japan.

For full details of this release please, especially already known issues, check this thread and the patch notes.

When reporting issues, please specify which client you are using (Mac or PC). This thread is for reporting issues only; for general feedback please use the Crucible 1.6 feedback thread here.

Trauma missiles went back to their Scourge names.
Mission expiration in the journal shows time but not date of expiration.
This is on the PC client.

Did you CCP do something with the small font preference in the Overview? I somehow feel the letters grew a bit bigger.

The biography is corrupted if it contains links. Everytime it is edited it gets further cropped.

(Quick reply on forum doesn't work btw, it gets emptied and I have to use the auto save backup)

When trying to refuel a POS with too much fuel I get this odd message in a popup:


{[numeric]volume} {[numeric]volume -> "unit", "units"} of space would be required to complete this operation. Destination container only has {[numeric]available} {[numeric]available-> "unit", "units"} available.

Sending mails to mailing lists whose names include a whitespace no longer works. This has been fixed internally and should be deployed in the first proper client update.

Do I really have to reinstall the client again? I did it 6 times for the 1.5 patch and the same error is occurring for me for 1.6. Patch was unsuccessful so I ran the repair tool but came up with error message. Launcher shows client is ready to play after repair but when I started client it gave the dreaded "corrupt installation" error message.

When doing an advanced sell order, it used to reset your sell price to the highest matching buy price if your sell price was lower. It no longer does this, meaning your sell will take place at the lower price and you will lose even more money.

More info: It used to reset the price when you hit tab, now it waits for a refresh of the order entry screen. If you hit sell before a refresh, it will sell at the lower price.

Using a windows PC, the assault missile is still labeled the same. Change is not there yet. Rapid Fire Missile is not used.

Drag and drop items from Inventory to Cargo or vice versa not working.
Sometimes it works, often it won't. What?
Same with fitting screen. To fit or unfit an item sometimes works, often not.

Figured out that to hold the left mouse key for a longer time and release it after about 10 seconds will unfit an item from fitting screen to the inventory. But only this. Vice versa this wont help, cannot fit items to ship. Shocked


All names of items in inventory and all System/Constellation/Region/Station names have an asteriks (*) at the end in German client.

PC with windows 7 64 Bit.

Confirmed that expiry dates are missing from delayed missions.

Expires data now only shows times.

These stars can be turned off in the language settings. Decheck Highlight Important Names and make sure you click the "Apply Language Settings" button below (not the button to close the settings menu). This only works if you opted into the optional client patches.

Inventory failing, can I get some more information on this? I'm not having issues on my client after multiple attempts.

I can reproduce the same behavior. You have to click the item (in listed view with text only) on the upper border of the column of that item, then you can drag and drop it. This applies not to all items in a list but most.

Another problem: In the starmap i cant search for systems. The search-button has no effect. Pressing enter has no function also.
