sorry for dumb question maybe... but where can i exactly read about the beginning of eve? like what exactly happend when before or when they found the WH to new eden etc. because i love reading into the lore of an epic game like EVE online. and would like to be able to learn how it started, then slowly read further and further in what happend. is there any "free" fiction about it, or must i buy a specific book from the eve store or?

Main source of eve backstory are chronicles and you can read all of them here. There are lot of them, but you can start from the earliest ones (prelaunch and 2003) and work your way up.

When you're done with them, you can check this section of official forums. Lots of disscusion here and you can ask your questions if you have them. Here you can also read a lot of fan-made (players) fiction.

Also, there are 3 published EVE novels for now. First is Empyrian Age by Tony Gonzales, second is The Burning Life by Hjalti Danielsson, and last is Templar One, also by Tony Gonzales. These novels are not free.
