Caldari Propaganda Slanders Renowned War Hero! Tibus Heth Conspiracy!

Astonishing news reached Gutter Press about an alleged incident at a secret Caldari military research station, belonging to the Lai Dai megacorporation !

The station was involved with research into Rogue Drones, quite possibly a way to weaponize them against the Federation, as part of Tibus Heth's campaign of oppression!

It was alleged that renowned war hero, Luminaire General Seriphyn Inhonores was part of a raid that sought to obtain the secret research data about the Drone Superweapon.

Footage claiming to be of General Inhonores sneaking about the station air ducts wearing a black hood was released by Lai Dai, as part of Tibus Heth's propaganda machine!

It was also alleged that the escape vehicle was a Non-Capsule fitted Tristan frigate, which crashed on a nearby moon.

Sensational!

We spoke with possibly the Only Honest Caldari, Captain "Stitcher", who had this to say:

"I've known Inhonores to do all sorts of stuff. That said, it DOES sound unlikely."

Captain Stitcher also said to "Keep up the incisive journalism!"

General Inhonores had this to say:

" I expect naive capsuleers to lap up any press release a corporation in Executor Heth's pocket sends out."

Gutter Press contends that this is quite clearly a Caldari Conspiracy, to slander the good name of a Federal Hero, and to deflect negative attention away from their Rogue Drone Weaponization Programme, which they also deny exists.

Gutter Press will continue to investigate stories such as these.

Insufferable womanizer and bigoted patriot? Yes.

Air duct shuffling spy who flies ships without a capsule? No.

I call nonsense.

EDIT: I would also say the General is more of a victim of war than a hero. That man has lost more dear to him than most of us care to consider.

Actually I've heard air duct spying is one of his more common methods of womanizing. It was more likely the good general was looking for a ladies room when he happened upon the drone lab.

Actually, my contacts within the Protection Service have confirmed parts of that story. There's been some kind of a raid - without anything being stolen - including several casualties, civlian included, and a following engagement in space.
Nothing that incriminates the revered war hero, though.

Perhaps I'm being dense, or just not understanding some dynamic of the Caldari/Gallente conflict...

...but how does accusing an enemy officer of being part of some espionage incident count as propoganda?

I also call nonsense. Rogue drones are notoriously unpredictable in anything but their seemingly insatiable appetite for anti-social behavior. I believe it would be more effective to weaponize rouge drones.

A more reliable piece of reporting than the "Intellectuals of New Eden" thread.

Dosent say much for either of you... but hey. Take what you can get.

And a close friend of mine involved in this confirmed some of these events. Of course, there was no "Drone Superweapon", nor was there any attempt at gathering Super-Secret Data by Seripyhn (at least as far as I'm aware). In short, both sides have managed to spin and sensationalize this beyond the truth. Surprise, surprise.

Vile Slander!

Although fighting for the wrong side, the dear General is both an officer and a gentleman of the highest order.

I will not stand for this.

My thanks to the Gutter Press for outstanding reporting as usual.

The work that's being done is to create a virulent memeplex that would stabilize the rogue drones' utility function into something more passive. Very interesting stuff!
