WARNING: FAIL POST AHEAD

My idea is to make it so that when there aren't any hostiles in range, the FoF missiles will start behaving like normal missiles (only attacking what you target), and the missile launcher will enter standby unless you have something targeted or another hostile is in range. This will help prevent accidentaly CONCORDOKKENS in High-Sec, and it could prevent you from wasting missiles on things like wrecks, asteroids, and pleasure hubs (unless you target the pleasure hub).

In addition, the FoF Missiles will have a list of items that they shouldn't attack, such as asteroids or jetcans.

Finally, I request FoF missile launchers: These launchers can only fire FoF missiles, but they give you bonuses to said missiles. In addition, the larger FoF launchers can fit multiple different sizes of FoF missiles, such as light, heavy, and cruise missiles.

IRL which of course has nothing to do with the game. IFF (Identify Friend or Foe) works by interrogating targets, if it doesn't receive a friendly response its a foe. This isn't a great way to filter out targets without IFF units installed. FOF missiles are already balanced, you don't have to target, but they do less damage and hit what they hit.

well, FoF could use a buff, since i saw nobody ever using them

also this would be an interesting way to counter ECM

adding "Focus Fire" and "Only hit aggressed" options like for drones would make sense
