No m8, ure apology will never be accepted. You have preformed a act of cyber bullying. This is illegal and should be bannable. If CCP does NOT ban you then there is somthing wrong in their head. If you got drunk and did that then u dont deserve the position of CSM.

I don't see the point in people freaking out about this honestly. EVE is a very impersonal game, taking your personal issues into a video game with people you don't know and are more than likely not going to take you seriously and troll you is just plain stupid.

If someone else was in Mittani's position, had such an eve mail sent to him after ganking 23 alts and leading an alliance that literally takes joy at doing villainous acts, they probably would have done the same thing. The person in question should take this as a personal example of what not to do in a mmo video game that is all about player vs player and blowing each other up in the end.

Also, if he really was depressed, I don't think the Mittani suicide hotline should have been his choice to voice his issues, there are other places for that. =/

Mittani probably should not have given out the name of the person in question. But he did, because at the time he was drunk and being silly. He's acknowledged this apologized, the horse is dead, let it die, and learn not to bring your personal drama into a game that is not supposed to be personal.

Yes hes a CSM member but hes human, he makes mistakes just like everyone else, as much as I hate the goons in game, I respect their accomplishments out of game. They make for a great villain, Eve would be boring without them.

Well said Mittens.

Mistakes were made, but they can be (and in my eyes, have now been) fixed. Although it's too bad this has happened, I hope this event makes people recognize that there should indeed be a line between in-game and real life, and they are themselves responsible for maintaining it.

Yes it's really horrible that for the first time the game has a csm chairman the majority of the playerbase knows who he is, that the csm actually passes stuff and does things and who is actually clever and enjoyable. You should definitely trade that for some nameless dumb dude who won't do **** just because he got drunk and ****** up.
