When people post in a thread implying they wish it was dead, it does make me suspect the wish is not entirely genuine...

I don't understand how the WiS thread is winning and more importantly, how it even remotely relates to this thread. Nor do I see anyone surrendering.

It could very well only be one side making the wish. However, it does seem like the overall community is losing interest in this thread.

However, for a thread to be truly dead, it would require an act of Divine Providence, basically the hand of almighty CCP coming down to smite it, never to be resurrected ever again. It would only be fitting to have a Dirge for an act such as that.

A pity for the person who was antagonized by Mittens. The latter person is rather nice in my own opinion when it comes to intelligent talk in his column, but Mittens went a bit overboard on this last issue right here; though it is somewhat sad to see the temporary fall and decline of a titanic figure in Eve, it is for the best after what happened. Though the cyberbully tag is a bit much, Mittens definitely should have thought that all the way through before anything else.

If the Mittani does come back to Eve and can get back into the CSM, I welcome him, regardless of political and alignment differences. From what I have seen, he is a relatively good person, and it would be sad to see such a massive figure in the history of Eve stay banned or leave.
