Welp!

This is what happens when you let a goon go outside.

First, there was Lowtax VS Uwe Boll.

Now, this.

I wonder what´s next for them.

He says CCP threw him under the bus.

He was the one on stage wanting people to push someone to suicide.

Yeah Totally sincere when someone pushed blame onto others for their own misdeeds and wont own them.

I'll admit I watched The Mittani at FanFest CSM panel with disgust - he's a total douche bag. I'm not in his alliance, so I don't follow him.

Listening to Mittani on mumble comms tonight, reinforced that Mittani is not a person worth following. Instead of listening to those that told him he is wrong in his personal behavior and treatment of others, firing him from the CSM panel and banning him from the game. He instead makes the decision to lash out at the game, and orders his alliance to attack players in Jita.

His actions could cause people to quit eve, as they would think that CCP would allow the game to spiral out of control and allow hundreds of players to destroy everything within reach in the trade hub. If people quit the game - we won't have a game to play, hurting all of us.

It's self-destructive behavior - he destroyed his reputation, hurt the reputations of the CSM and CCP, and now looks to hurt the reputation of his own alliance. All of it because he advocated destroying a person through harrassing him to commit suicide.

It's not funny, it never was. Don't follow someone off a cliff - as his actions are clearly self-destructive.

The Mittani should quit eve, not out of rage, but out of guilt. Goonswarm started playing eve with the intent to wreck it, and they have, just like they did in the last game they set out to wreck. The Mittani has wrecked Eve-online's reputation with his vulgar displays on broadcast TV.

He has nothing to be proud of, nothing to show for his self-destructive behavior, absolutely nothing, and will be missed by no one.

Yup he is very juvenile. And that is the sum of the goonswarm in the end.

They dont give a damn about the game.

No... this csm was actually making changes that improved the game. Dont let politics destroy our game play!!!

Who cares about your apology

You should be permaban and removed from the csm.

Taking anything out of the game and into the real world of this nature is foul and morally low.

Im sorry the CSM is a representation of the players.

The players are the ones changing the game. The CSM just narrow the focus a bit.

I don't think the full legal implications of what mittens did have fully sunk in yet..

There are currently individuals pending criminal charges in the United States over posting video of an individual kissing another man, that individual later committing suicide.

If The Wiz actually committed suicide because his mackinaws were pursued mercilessly by individuals intent on making him kill himself, jokingly or not, would mittens be facing criminal charges? The fact that he was joking does not matter, the fact that he was drunk is irrelevant. When someone is accused of ****, saying "I was drunk" is not a valid defense. The individuals charged with the suicide mentioned above made public apologies and said "We didn't intend for him to kill himself.

Now the real question is; is someone who would advocate, even jokingly (jokingly is a context to be taken by the individual watching the presentation, not the presenter), that people pursue a player to make himself commit suicide worthy of any place of leadership? Questions to ponder

Mittani, you are a disgusting individual. The fact that you would get a pleasure out of griefing someone to the point that they commit suicide, or the idea of someone committing suicide from griefing, is abhorrent. Completely disregarding that fact that you were drunk during the presentation, you put those slides together, including an individual speaking about deep depression and suicide, and presented them in a mocking fashion. Seriously think about what you would have done if that guy had committed suicide. In truth you probably never would have found out, since his subscription would have just ended, and the player would have left the game forever. The goons would have chalked it up as another victory "Ha, we ****** with him so bad he QUIT the game!!!" not knowing he actually quit his life

The individuals saying that there is nothing wrong with your posts need to take a serious step back and consider what their morals and values are. To quote many goons defending your comments, "This is a game", exactly, we're here to have fun, sometimes in a frustrating and infuriating way. Death IRL should never be brought into that mix

Now, lets get back to blowing up internet space ships.

1st- I don't like what Goon does either, ruining the game is rather annoying and I love eve, so I find it rather insulting.

That being said, the attack on Jita is just their way of seeing how CCP reacts to them. Personally, I'm interested in how EVE as a whole reacts to the attack. Keep in mind, nearly every player in EVE uses Jita at some stage...or is reliant on Jita, at the very least.

Although I could point out the flaws in the plans to attack Jita, I can also understand why they feel they need to do something to see what CCP will do. Though I personally believe CCP has done the right thing and any actions the CFC takes does not represent the beliefs of the rest of EVE. It's just the CFC needing a way to express themselves in the only way they know how, by causing trouble for everyone (although the more they act out, the more satisfied I am...cause come on, its Goon tears...how could I not love it?).

Wow...that was a lot of stuff to read. Here is what I take out of it.
Do people really want this game become mediocre just like every other one out there? Do we want CCP regulate what people can and can not say? I would much rather get a group of people and go blow a f...er up. This was the game I liked. If all of you people hate Goons, form up and kill them.

@CCP, Corporate political correctness will kill you. You will simply become another fail Sony experiment. Keep universe a place where players shape the outcome, not Sony's PR department.

Hey Mittens, this is why I said you were ******** for apologizing.

Apologies only work if the opposition is based in actual offense from the incident, not if it is meta-game driven. You were right in your speech, don't show weakness.

Also, if anyone critizes this post I will take it as harassment and file a report with the FBI, CSI, NSA, CIA, FOX News, Mi5 and Our Lord and Savoir Tim Tebow himself.

Personally, and I know you feel differently, I don't want someone who tries to push people into suicide representing me. No matter if he meant it as a joke, he still did it...and Test is actually following it up by wardeccing the guy as we speak. So yeah, I don't want someone with that flawed of a moral basis representing me, nor being the more public face of EVE players.

Also, I support and will help defend the guy Mitt made fun of. I might be alone, but at least I have my self-respect.

Thank you for stepping aside under the circumstances.

Welcome to politics. We all know you are kinda bullshitting. You say you didn't realize what you did...well until the **** hit the fan. You have given a "politically" acceptable apology, like any politician., after the outcry.

I don't think you took your awful real self into this game and your play attitude will continue.

The huge f-up was being so far into your griefing gameplay that you were totally blind to the fact that you were representing EVE on film and to anyone who was watching.

You weren't playing to the world or your political role, you were performing for your boys. You took the game into real life and hammered the bejeebus out of your victims.

One of the great things about DUST514, is that it will burn all that energy that is now being put to sadism. EVE is not fast enough for lots of players who really love the game. The griefing bubble is a reaction to the game being slower than the twitchy DUST will be...this should really self organize once we have the entire eve/dust world rockin it. We need both sides, right?
