Then there are those who are quite funny when drunk, but can't tell a joke to save their lives when sober.

Missing my point is what makes this fire burn, and Mittani's tin foil moment. People with depression need professional help and support of their relatives, not mining veldspar in Eve Online and claiming to want to kill themselves.

The titel CSM isn't just fun or nice-to-have. As soon as someone gains an official titel he has to be much MUCH more carefull and in first place has to ask himselve: "is it in conflict with my offizial position?".

Gaining a positon like CSM includes: I can no longer do what I want to do but I allways have to first ponder my words with the company.

You as individual can call them "selfish".
You as CSM can NOT call them "selfish".

Understand what I'm talking about?

You know what's irritating me about this whole thing?

This has now become "sacred ground." There isn't any other claim for immunity that a player can make that will save them from the ridicule of their fellow man. It's unverifiable, unassailable and impervious to scrutiny.

People now have license to throw an "I'm going to kill myself because you ganked my hauler" into local and everyone has to immediately give way. It's like none of you have ever had a crazy girlfriend. ****, I've had like five. People who threaten suicide to those that are close to them are probably just looking for attention. People who threaten suicide to other people in a videogame are always just looking for attention.

Even if this ****** is completely on the level and decides to end himself over goddamn space pixels, I can't think of a more appropriate reason to mock someone.

Honestly, I don't care whether Goons are asshats in game or not. There's always a villain, be it BoB or them.

That said, yeah it was a ****** thing to do. He's owning up to it. My guess is that almost 11b isk is enough to have that miner ignoring hulkageddon and the ice interdiction for years to come. Unless he does something stupid, like try to get into GS through the recruitment channel Roll

I didn't vote for anyone, I hardly play anymore, but you all should be looking at his past achievements on the CSM, and what he can do for this one. He's got to love the game or he wouldn't be playing it. That and i'm sure he has loads of fun playing the bad guy.Big smile
