[Vancouver, BC, Canada] Monthly Gathering, Third Tuesday!

Every month in Metro Vancouver, BC, Canada, we run a gathering for EVE Players at the Boston Pizza in New Westminster (5 min walk from New Westminster Skytrain Station). This Monthly gathering runs on the Third Tuesday at 7pm. We almost always have the Party Room booked!

So, let's break this down:

Where: Boston Pizza, New Westminster (map link below)

When: Third Tuesday, Monthly, 7pm
NEXT: May 15

No RSVP necessarry, just show up! The Gathering will run with anywhere from one person (me) to 40 (room max, approx.).

ISD Welcome!

Special Note: August 2011's event is our official 2 year mark! Yes, we've been running these events for two years now! Many of us have made new friends through this gathering! And many more will be welcomed!

If you want to chat with us before the event, please feel free to find us in the "MetroVan" channel ingame!

There aren't alot of stories about the events themselves. It's alot of sharing stories of experiences from ingame. We've had all types come to the event including Sov holders, industry tycoons, wormhole explorers, pirates, high sec wardecers, and many others. It's all about sharing experiences.

After a recent suggestion, I'm going to see about getting a website up and running and start sharing some pictures and other stuffs. I'll link it here when it's up.

I really wish I could attend more of these events as they are a lot of fun. Hopefully I will be there for the February one.

A good time was had indeed. As I said though I won't be able to make the next one as it is on the day I leave for Fanfest. Shall be at the one after that though.

I wonder at what it is about Boston Pizza that attracts us gamer types no matter what type of game we are involved in. 8D

If I get to clambering over these mountains I will certainly try to look you guys up! It sounds like a good way to pass an evening.

I can't speak for all gamers or all BPs, but, I've been going to this particular BP for well over 10 years and they've always treated me, and any large groups I've been there with, well. It would only be proper that when I'm trying to arrange a largeish group, I bring the business to they have have treated me so well over the years.

20 years ago Ice Online meets were at BP on Lougheed. They treated us well then as well.
