Since when did it become mandatory for players to be degreed psychologists to play this game?
How are we aupposed to know a 'real life' cry for attention from an orchestrated attempt to sully the name of a duly elected player representitive?
What credentials do I now need to have so that when a player self-destructs in game I can tell if it's just a game action or that this may be the first sign that he may self-destruct in 'real life' ?
Why do you people hate this goon fellow so much? Are you that impotent in game that your only recourse is to insist on posting patheric wow like posts on these once sacred forums?
Grow some balls and destroy his ship in game.
Or maybe you better not he might get sad in 'real life' and do soemthing drastic.

How someone or a group can get away with this on a live feed being broadcasted by CCP in front of thousands of existing and potential players astounds me.

CCP should understand that inaction on this issue will be seen as an approval, if not a full-blown endorsement of this type of behavior.

if you speak in public you always should think twice what you say. and there won't be big problems for the guy that behaved in a asocial manner, it's a problem for CCP because they gave him the chance to speak publicly and didn't intervene. (sry for bad english)

It's not like he profaned some sacred institution. All he did was point out to everyone in the world that he's a prick. That's fine, doesn't deserve a banning. I think most intelligent people were under that impression already.

He didn't start multiple wars and throw a world power into economic ruin (well, he did in EvE..but that's actually cool). He hasn't committed genocide. He said something stupid and horrible to some game players as a figurehead in said game. His actions actually mean nothing.

Do I want him "representing" me? No. So long as he's chairman of the CSM and unapologetic about this, I'm just going to deny the CSM does. Does he need to be kicked out of the game? Unless he actually acts on what he said I'd say no.

Frankly, his position in the CSM doesn't even have anything to do with ethics or culture of the people who play the game anyway. The role of the CSM is simply to represent what we want in the way of features and fixes...nothing else. Throwing all this sacred principle crap on it is just silly.

In this regard The Mitanni actually offers a perspective that I'd hope is not lost in that I actually like the scamming, griefing (within reason), and ganking that is EvE. While some may want to turn EvE into some sort of collegiate, lets grow some flowers or something business, the goons want to turn it into a chaotic laugh fest. Generally speaking, the latter view never develops enough to have a real voice in something like this...so I for one rather hope he realizes he went too far and pulls back...and I think the "community" should let him should he chose to.

Let's get some modicum of perspective on this. We don't need to grief him out of the game. We don't need to teach him a lesson he'd be unwilling to learn anyway. **** it, seriously.

Sorry I totally disagree with you should CCP accept 'attempting to drive people to sucide' within the rules , I'm out , it IS against the rules already and he SHOULD be PERMA BARRED
