Missioning post-standings change

It's been a while now since the agent standings requirements were altered and made all agents of a various accessible once the required standings were reached.

How has this affected people in the long run? Are people still gathering in places like Motsu and Penirgman? Have you all dispersed to 0.5 space for maximum rewards? How's life been with ninjas? Or is it just too damn quiet now that incursions are pretty popular?

I realise the potential here for calling me out as a troll or feeding info to those who'd misuse it but my curiosity has got the better of me. I left Motsu just before the change and found alternate ways of funding my habit, and am mostly wondering what others have been doing since the changes were implemented.

The Gaming MoD - retro to modern, console to MMO, I blog about it if it's a game and I'm interested in it. Yes, I play games other than Eve and I don't care if you think I'm wrong.

That's a lot of questions due to just plain ole curiosity.

Probably the best and only answer to all those questions is "Don't know".

EDIT:

Didn't realise my post needed fixing. Also you spelt Penirgman wrong... And when I get curious, I really get curious.

Ahh, you're right about the spelling which I have fixed. Why and how that happened I can honestly say:

"Don't know".

with the super rare exceptions. I have missioned inthe same **** hold for over 2 years.

I have learnt that i make MORE isk in my **** hole than i do with incursions and wormholes.

due to my obscure play times/tz.

i have easily netted my self 50 billion isk in that time. and thats less than 50% of what i coulda earnt if i was unemplyed.

imo. if ccp truely wants to fix the mission isk faucet they shoudl resort to tags. even of that means makign all missions in empire anti faction. but then again i am a strong bnacker of action and reactions.
where is my ability to link a sig properly CCP you munters!!

here is my .02 ISK

i've been through several mission hubs in amarr space over the last few months. most of them have between 30 and 60 ppl online at any given time. once in a while, there is a thrasher or scan frigate stealing wrecks to provoke me (one of them was popped by rats when i warped out :D). before the change, i didn't mission a lot so there is no data to compare to.

I should buy an Ishtar.

From what I have seen in the past few weeks, those mission runners who have just looked up the old info on mission hubs are still in the old stomping grounds. Plenty of others, though, have made the move to 0.5 systems.

As for ninja looters trying to bait folks into aggressing, I think that is dying out to be honest. As a non-baiter, I would suspect it would only really catch the inexperienced in lower value ships and there are better ways to make money these days.

I have to object.

Killing Missionrunners is still prossible. I know someone who solely is focused on baiting and killing Mission runners in a Dual Neut Cane.

Most of the times he kills the normal BS mission ships ( Raven etc ) but he also killed a whole bunch of Tengus and a Nightmare or two :D

how do you kill a nightmare with only one cane? when i turn off my lasers i'm almost cap stable with 700hps BEFORE i turn on my cap booster.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Dual Neut Cane? Highlighted it for you. You might be able to inject, sure - but you'll be capped out quickly enough and all the booster will let you do is get off one or two rep cycles before you're capped out again. You'll almost most likely be using Tachyons meaning all the cane has to do is orbit you at walking pace to avoid being hurt. Your drones won't do **** - if he's a smart mission killer he'll work on those first seeing as how other than Tachyons they're your only point of defence and they'll pop quite quickly. And once your drones are dead and you're pointed/webbed and neuted while being orbited, your only option is the batphone because a Nightmare killmail is a juicy one.

i'm sorry, i actully overread the baiting part, so i was struggling with how you would kill a nightmare before concord saves the day. if a missioner in a blinged out nightmare engages in pvp, he deserves to lose it.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Then my bad for the correction. To kill a Nightmare before Concord comes in is pretty much the same for any ship though... Tornados Tornados Tornados.
